this episode is a direct sequel to the direct to video Batman TAS animated film by the way, that's what they're referencing with Nora, Mr Freeze's wife being revived, Batman was able to save her from her condition, the films ending led us to believe that Mr Freeze and Nora would finally be able to be back together again, but then this episode happens with the stupid spider head thing. this is a bit of an odd one to me honestly, I like the episode but it's a bit of an odd direction to go with Mr Freeze, he's one of the animated series best and most sympathetic characters, so to have him throw a temper tantrum like this feels a bit a disservice to the character, it's not the route I would have chosen, this is his final appearance in Batman TAS by the way, though you may see him again if we do some of the other series in the DC animated universe.

This would’ve been fine if the episode was made after his debut but this was an episode after the movie and it fit the tone for Superman TAS. No shade on Superman TAS as I have fond memories watching that show like Batman TAS.

I just wished Superman TAS would've been able to finish how it intended instead of what was supposed to be the start of a new season becoming the finale its an incredible finale but I definitely wanted more at least we got justice league afterwards
