I won't say who was what. This is from when we were kids. One family put jam in the fridge and peanut butter on the shelf/pantry. The other family put peanut butter in the fridge and the jam in the pantry/cupboard. Yes, this is after they were opened and ready to be used again for consumption. Which family did it correctly?

jam only in the fridge after it's opened. until then it should be fine if it's sealed correctly
