In Jujutsu Kaisen episode 2x13, Red Scale, Yuji fails to move his liver out of the way from a blood-bending blast but thankfully, like shoulders, livers are redundant and unnecessary.

SO HYPED

Pulp

Choso is such a cool character, and voiced by Hisoka!

Jake White

*in best MoistCritikal voice* WOOOOOO YEAH BABY that’s what we’ve been waitin for

Rice

This is the kind of adaptation that manga authors have to dream of man. I genuinely can’t even imagine how Gege felt watching this. His panels were given life by mappa.

macrowave

I don’t know what those memories that don’t exist are either, but Todo had the same thing happen to him. I think it’s gotta be an actual thing

agoodwintv

I chalked that up to Todo just being highly creative and romantic. This felt like... something forced on him

Jake White

Yeah, Todo’s was a self-imposed fantasy (just like the talk in his head with Takada at school as he figured out how to deal with Hanami’s cursed bud technique). So it’s a bit different than what’s going on with Choso.

macrowave

At the time so did I! But now it’s happened again, and on top of that the openings and endings have played around with fake memories that people have with Yuji too, like the kid from season 1 having a picnic with them all. Or the ending that was all of them hanging out on a beach. I can’t think it’s a coincidence

macrowave

I guess it is a little different, but SOMETHING is happening, and it’s connected to Yuji somehow

tk

I wouldn't dismiss it so handily. The way the manga framed both these events has more in common than it appears, and so did the anime, with the aspect ratio changing and being very similar presentation wise and whatnot. If I had to wager, without knowing what happens next, it would have to do with either Yuji's parentage/bloodline or, more likely, his technique. Especially because the phrase "Memories that didn't exist." is verbatim a track from Season 1 soundtrack, that plays during the Todo moment. Just something to think about :)

As a manga reader, this episode made me want to French kiss the director. Passionately

Jake White

Ditto. Can’t help but feel like Gege was probably screaming with glee the whole time he watched it lol

Are the JJK videos on Wednesday now? Also this episode had some really amazing choreography.

Vali Sippola

Love this episode. Choso himself is imo the best written character in this series, so it was great to actually see him get truly introduced instead of being a side character.

Bighead

Yuji's cursed technique- turning his enemies into brothers by infiltrating their memories.

RoZiiii

Besides Gojo , Choso def has the coolest abilities

Emman Reed

wow awesome. I was waiting for this reaction and I'm so happy its finally here for me to enjoy! Also the liver is a really important organ for pretty much your entire body. But Yuji flirts with death bc thats what all main characters do I guess haha. Awesome animation, incredible story direction from here on out and I enjoyed the reaction so much!

Ohm

H Goodwin. This is unrelated to JJK but your full length reaction of Vinland Saga ep 15 & 16 are still not accessible for the $1 tier. Apologies.
