Hey all!

First off - BTDEM is my first, largest priority, and no matter what other side projects I've got cooking or other interests I've got going on, BTDEM is my primary focus.

With that said, I've got the start of three different books rattling around in my head, and I was curious what people would want to see, IF I ever decided to flex some creative writing muscles in a different direction. Opening lines of all three novels in the poll. World and System would still be Pallos, although all three would be 'native' to the world. I doubt any would be epics of the size of BTDEM - Probably 'just' a nice trilogy.

No promises that any of them ever get written either. I'm just trying to gauge some interest, to see if there's an idea that resonates with people more than others.

I always figured that Herculix's story would be pretty awesome. From his humble beginnings in a very young Pallos, to the Destroyer torching human settlements, the Guardian battle inspiring him to follow Etalix, The Storm, followed by all of his crazy adventures that result in him reaching level 4096, as a mortal human with a [Hero]-tagged class, and ascending to godhood. As for the three writing ideas, I've read Song of the Lioness when I was younger and I'm quite fond of it. But is it really anything like it without a female protagonist pretending to be a boy on a quest for knighthood?

I like Cultivators as the kinda joke they currently are in the world, novels about them have saturated the Chinese fantasy genre a dozen times worse than isekai in Japan. To the point most people don't seem to realize there's anything else there.

Throne of Magical Arcana is still the best Chinese novel I read. (its Chinese, right?)
