To be fair. He wasn't much of an 'Immortal' Emperor. From how Night described it, his tenure didn't last longer than maby a couple of decades max, after Elaine disappeared. He died during her brother's life time as a senator. From a historical point of view, he did a shit job at the whole Immortal thing.

I've been using ReadEra. It didn't show the class colors, though. I haven't figured out if epub doesn't support that, or just the app I'm using.

I use Calibre. It doesn't show any coloured text in this file either. Edit: no wait it does now. I'd seen a slightly earlier version of this file which didn't.

On Android, I use Moon Reader Pro, but Amazon's Kindles handle epubs now, so you can use a physical kindle (just email the epub to it) or the kindle app for your device/desktop.

Chopped in half LightbSaber sounds like something Darth Maul lost. Other wise yes a high end flash light could be possible but not sure since most would not work after being damaged. Given the description is only Radience magic that leaves a lot of leeway between nightlight and death star for what it can do.

If you have an Apple device, use the Patreon email to open the ePub. It downloads the ePub through the web browser. Then you can choose any compatible app to read it in. I just use the Books app that come preinstalled on my iPad.

I think Iona might not immediately be obviously female until a closer look with her armor on. She probably just assumed the knight was male, then realized it was a Valkyrie. I could be wrong, though, and it could be a typo, it depends on how Iona's mallium was currently structured when she was walking up.

I think a lot of people saw the malicious compliance from night with the back pay coming when it was mentioned. Also it’s nice to see our girl finally taking the power route in the class ups she has offered instead of staying perfectly comfortable in her bubble.

@Julian Langlo Julius Ceasar died 2000 years ago, and our history is well documented. Versus in this story, the guy got killed +20,000 years ago, and its history has been wiped by immortal wars several times over. The number of people that remember the poor bastard probably number a couple dozen at best.
