Check out the Scorn review here!

My lastest review is a damn spicy one! Scorn is a game that makes me feel... well... scorn! Seriously, I cannot emphasize enough how horrible this was to play.

The game is divisive it seems as some really like its style, despite the substance. Also, Steph did a Steam Greenlight trailer review video on this back in summer 2016. Watch it on YouTube for some context on their disappointment.

Normally we are pretty on the same line when it comes to game opinions, but I actually really enjoyed the simplicity of Scorns game play! The shade to Agony got a good laugh out of me, though. I absolutely hated the combat as well. I feel like the monsters should have been there for environmental story telling and scares, perhaps be something to avoid, but not to fight. If they truly wanted you to fight in this game, they should have given you better tools and a better system for it. I think a lot of my personal gripes with it would be mitigated if they would add a save spot after every major puzzle.

Waiting for Scorn 2 Less Gigger, more Beksiński. Thank you James Stephany Sterling I will trust You on that and arm myself in patience, awaiting for the game that may never come :) I wish you kind people all that's good. For you, everyone at Jimquisition and every friendly face here I wish only good days to come. Cheers, Michał.

I haven't played "Scorn" myself but it makes me sad that a long-anticipated team by my home team in Serbia ranks so low. I know the development has been rough and long but their ambition was great, which is something we just culturally don't know about - and that ambition is something I respect tremendously.

Here's hoping the new Plague Tale gets a review, and that Steph enjoys it.

Love to see you writing again, Steph

Loved reading Your writing again. Give us more of this goodness when You see fit.

Ah, the old 'lather, rinse, repeat' style of gameplay. Fail until you stumble on a solution or luck out. Hoping Scorn gets the Sean Murray treatment and eventually evolves from shambling horror to something playable. Until then, based on Steph's review and others, hard pass.

Would love to hear your voice though and imagining you reading this doesn't live up to your personality 😔 hopefully you will discuss this on PodQuisition 😎😇🙇🏻‍♂️

That's a shame, I remember when you previewed this game years ago and it looked amazing
