It's really an issue of the need to be first. Someone writes something similar to "Next switch might have 4k support using Nvidia upscaling" and 5 articles later "Nintendo will support 4k". 10 articles is "Nintendo to release 4k porn of X on switch". People hate uncertainty and "news" follows that demand for certainty. Never mind if it is really true. They read from news that Nintendo will offer 4k and 20 free games. It feels like Nintendo takes away 4k and 20 free games when it turns out to be a lie.

It's amazing how overly zealous Nintendo tryhards can be, to the point they end up trolling themselves. And considering they aren't happy if you like something they dislike and aren't happy if you see a minor flaw in something they like, I don't think they're capable of being pleased with anything.

OMG, I got a surprise EMail from Best Buy, saying 'preorder NOW'. I clicked on it, and after going through soooooo many steps, managed to get one in my cart and check out! They sure try hard to make sure you're not a bot...this time at least.... (updated 2 hours later) aaaaand, the preorders are already on ebay for around 5-600 bucks. I'm not selling mine, mind you, but it sure didn't take long...
