On today's Jimquisition, we look at the latest nonsense from the world of live services, as Marvel's Avengers is set to be more of a grind for no reason.

On top of that, we've got a discussion on The Sinking City and legal issues surrounding both developer and publisher.

Having foolishly decided to get back into Destiny, I was reminded that Destiny basically gives you all of your powers within a couple of hours of gameplay. Fast leveling isn’t confusing. Figuring out how to get the cool stuff without paying real money for it is the confusing part.

I remember watching a couple reviews that liked Avengers and the thing they pointed out was that endgame powers were where the game got really fun. Foregoing the poor design choices there, increasing the grind means it's further distancing the player from the good stuff in the game.
