It's a double bill of a video! First, we talk about The Verge controversially previewing Deadlock without Valve's blessing and the nontroversy that followed. Then, we discuss the recent rerelease of Doom/Doom II, and the lack of oversight that led to a lot of credit stolen from modders. Oh what fun!

On the James Gournalism - yeah this is a total non-issue and utterly not worth anyone giving a shit about. Before (I presume) the Verge article, I heard about Deadlock via the leaked copy I heard was going around. After the Verge article, I was invited to the beta myself after clicking the interested button on Steam. I'm only hearing about the Verge article now. I don't think many people were 'spoiled' on this announcement by the Verge. On Doom - yeah, even if the mods were using Doom's IP - the mods have their own IP which is also protected. I really think they should have a case against Idthesmax. Also, what's the issue with the music in Doom? Wasn't it licensed? Or are we talking about the Mick Gordon thing from Doom Eternal?

Steph I remember the glorious musical short you made before transitioning called Bethesda is bethetic. Any chance you could make an updated version of that banger? It's just as relevant today as it was when you made it.
