Sad but true, fair is considered beautiful, and it is the standard. Women have been made to believe it and sadly it has been passed on from women to women. We're definitely starting to call it out, but it still seems like a long journey because that insecurity is set in the root. It's funny though because there are people in the west who want to be brown because it is considered exotic but those who are brown are compared to European standards of beauty. Made in Heaven is complex, messed up and so many things but I like how they have weaved so many themes and real-life issues in this series format. Tara wasn't invited for the party and since she is getting a divorce, all the people from the elite circle have cut her out. It is getting to her because she is questioning why is being left out? The man cheated on her but no one is treating him different.
