Finally hopping into this series! Really cool since I'm originally from Philly so it'll be interesting the landscapes I see here! Already loving the episodes, so excited to dive into more. Being homesick never felt so good haha.

People who write, 'like this comment if...' are vain freaks. That said, like this comment if you want James to go back and cover the banned Season 4, Episode 3, and all future banned episodes.

It was a delight watching the YT cut of 6x09, (amd 10!), which reminded me just how funny this is. Compact too. Charlie's Good Will Hunting bit. Dee, The Bad Actor. Frank's sexcapades. The Lethal Weapon pastiche has that show-within-a-show quality we got in Nightman Cometh. It irritates me this is banned, when the resonant message of the episode is, 'blackface is a bad idea'. I'm a Sunny fan, too cool to get hot about it. The mass banning of TV shows with blackface came months after the murder of George Floyd and subsequent BLM protests. I'm not sure many asked for the censoring. The spearhead was a political move by Netflix, Hulu and others to look good at a time of sensitivities. Corporate shenanigans to guard their stock prices. Maybe some other show eps deserved to go? The consensus is that many didn't, including Sunny. I am still hot about the banning of a Community episode: a fan favourite with no racism and a strong anti-suicide message. Those things are important. Fuck The Man. I'm glad James you enjoyed both these eps so much. There's a few of the banned ones are gold. You'll love them too.
