Upon reviewing the suggestions list, I noticed that certain characters are heavily suggested and they keep repeating and the top 8 is still the same. What are your thoughts? Should I avoid using the same characters repeatedly to add more diversity? Vote below.

Yes, please. So tired of always Makima, Naruto girls, bleach, whatever whatever every single time. I get it people want to see them in your style, but once they are made and we have seen, we really should move on.. or at least, if you draw idk 3-4 characters per month, make room for ONE not-popular per month.

As long as it isn't the same characters every 3rd upload, I dont mind it. I'm sure some people who likes less popular characters also wanna see theirs. So maybe there's an inbetween?

A system that I have seen other creators use is avoiding the same characters for (at least) one month after their most recent appearance to work as a kind of cooldown period so new characters can appear. Variety is the spice of life, after all.

I like the "usual" but switching it up a bit can be fun too. Maybe like a 50/50 or something?

Yes, even if you do a system where the winning character for the month ends up not being allowed to get into the voting poll for the next month, once they're allowed back in the following month, they'll just find their way back to the top of the list.

I follow a creator whose system works pretty well. Each poll is a “theme” in which we can nominate characters and whichever theme gets voted on, it cannot be on the poll for another 2 or 3 polls. (ex: let’s say Hinata Hyuuga won, she is categorized under “anime” and we won’t get another anime character until 2-3 polls later). There is a bunch of categories we can pick from (video game characters, movie characters, etc). Hopefully this idea works but u read other ones and I agree with them as well
