What a sweet little surprise this was. Complete with one of my favorites of David Bowie. The guitar is especially nice, given my friend's band should be playing at our local Irish pub for a Halfway Day party tonight, but *waves* Covid. ☹️ The guitar sounded great- really clear on the new mic, if that helps. It's starting to get cooler here in Pittsburgh, especially at night, so I'm in fuzzy blanket, cat-snuggles mode and looking forward to lots of new audios to keep me warm and cozy. The absolute JOY in your voice is contagious! It's always a joy to listen to you talking about music and playing guitar ❤️ And you made me giggle about the temperatures! Temperatures dropped from like 30°C to 17°C here within a few days, and I already got my hot water bottle ready 😂 I have a funny story for you, too: I spend a lot of time in a tiny village, my family has a house there, and the guy who looks after the garden when we're not there reminds me so much of the people you tell us about. Last time he came over for a chat, he told us about the goat they had when he was a kid. It wore a collar and was chained to a pole in the garden so it could roam around but not run away. He was kind of a wild boy and when his mom went out groceries shopping, she would untie the goat and chain him up with the goat's collar 😂

Audio distance lol the zoom mic sounds good, guitar sounds amazing! I use my Sony WH-1000XM3 model headphones to listen to your audios, which have really good sound quality and noise cancelling abilities, so I know that the audio is quite good. What headphones do you use, Gael? I can't wait to hear your original songs! 😄 What type of guitar do you have? What brand is it? Lol same I elbow my guitar too XD I wanna play that Elvis song, that song is so easy to play, though I've been playing guitar for 7 years now 🤪 I also wanna play that Nirvana song too! Oh My Gaelic! That made me tear up and smile! I always said since I couldn't be a musician, I'd be a writer. My Daddy and I were sooo close. He always was playing his guitar and singing. "I Will" by the Beatles was his song for me. Life separated us from the time I was 6-18. We are definitely best friends again. About last year, he found a little note I slipped in his guitar that I named Lucy Boots. All that time later. I named my company Lucy Boots Media. It's the imperfections that make a song beautiful. You’ve only picked up guitar since January? Shut the front door, you’re doing a smash-up job! Just before the 13 min mark your finger work sounds both smooth and quick-something about that bit must be sitting well with your brain. I gave a quick “woot!” earlier when I first saw this post and now that I’ve had a chance to listen and hear the request for feedback on the mic the only thing notable for me was around the 5 min mark; there’s some sort of rumble/vibration noise I pick up. Or it could be my ear drum is rattling and I’m not bright enough to realize it as such. 50/50 odds there would be fair. Anyways-congrats again!

A few months ago and thanks to COVID/ISO bought the gaelforce audiobooks from iBooks and I was coming to the end of all the books and I thought what am I going to listers to now when a chance YouTube browse lead me to Patreon and you omg I am totally taken by your posts, especially your ramblings I’ve gone back to the beginning on here and you mentioned the movie new at the time “The young offenders” can I just say I watched it last night here in Melbourne, it was brilliant I was laughing so much and it actually reminded me of the humour and larrikins we have here in Australia, started to watch the series and I look forward to many more laughs. Oh god yes about the cold and the rain and the snow! I haven't actually experienced autumn weather since 2018, bc I went on an exchange in Souteast Asia last year (the heat turned me to soup). Now I can see the autumn leaves come forth and my body is. so. ready! I want a five meter long scarf around me, I will watch all of the old horror movies (especially those with my bae Vincent Price), I will drink 20 cups of tea every day, I'll listen to every version there is of 'Tis Autumn, and I'll shove a whole pumpkin up my arse! Very wholesome "rant". Kind of inspired me to pick up my own, very unused guitar again. Find some PJ Harvey songs to learn. I totally didn’t catch on to the relationship between the audios—though in my defense September has been... distracting (major, neighbor-involved plumbing problems and then the whole state being on fire...). It's truly incredible what can be achieved when we set our minds to things.. I love that approach to New Years resolutions!! Add in something positive, something beautiful! 💚🎶 Music is such an incredible medium too, and you are playing beautifully now (and in this time warp audio lol).. I've often thought about picking up the guitar but I've hesitated... I played piano for a number of years then moved to woodwinds and some percussion.. it's hard to pick a fav.
