Christmas is now officially over for me, but thank you love for making mine a little bit warmer and brighter. What you said about depression really hit home with me. I´ m finally rid of my relatives and now I can truly enjoy some quiet, peaceful days and nights all alone. Hey guys Hope everyone enjoyed themselves. It's still freaking cold and snowy here so we're staying warm and cozy. Fragen time. Bath? I haven't taken a bath in years. I waste too much water because I take a shower first then I take a bath with oils/salts/bubbles. Picnic? Sandwiches, salad, fruit, wine, cookies, olives, (black and green) Story? The Hungry Caterpillar. I also loved this poem that my brother taught me that I memorized (The Gruesome Ghoul) Window? My daughter left her soccer ball outside. It snowed about 4 in and the ball looks like a some one with an afro from the back. That's all for tonight.

Hello Frau Claudia and Merry Christmas to ya.. Haven't answered the Fragen in awhile so here it goes. 1. I take the daily shower to get the "hot spots"..😜😜..and once a week I take myself a nice hot bath..complete with bubbles and wine..after all a girl must treat herself!!! 2. I guess what I would bring to the picnic would be for after..a good book!! 3. My favorite children's book would be the mother of all children's book's..Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes... 4. The most interesting thing out my window now is the cat next door sitting on the trash can curled up!!.. 😀😀..Thank you for making us think!! ✌✌💗💗

Ahaha, awww. I did a little facepalm when he got stumped on the word tamales. Tis ok, my sweet irish one, for your smol mexican bean will help you. Tamales (tah-mah-lehs or tah-mah-l) are basically mexican hot pockets. The "bread" part is made out of masa, it's a corn dough basically. Then the masa is pasted onto corn husk or banana leaves. Add the filling on top of the masa and you're ready to wrap dat chit up and cook em. The filling varies from person to region - this year my family made spicy pork, spicy chicken and cheese, and bean and cheese with jalapeño! I now realize all this could have been solved with a simple googs search. Hm. OH WELL! ☆ﾟ°˖* ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Hello there, Frau Claudia and the sexy, sultry Fraugen! Happy almost-Mittwoch to everyone! Misty nights with strange creatures sounds rather exciting and intriguing, Claudia. Please let us know if you are visited by anything interesting! The night here is rather cold and we are in for a cold snap over the next week or so. Alas, there is no snow in our forecast, but then there rarely is in late December, early January. A girl can always hope, though. On to the random Fragen: Kiss tilt: I had to think about that for a moment. I tilt my head to the right always – I tried kissing the hubby tilted to the left and we bumped noses. Guess we’ve figured out what works for us. Wisdom teeth: I had all four wisdom teeth out in January of my freshman year in college. It was not a fun experience – all four were impacted and the oral surgeon couldn’t get to them easily. Suffice it to say, I lived on pasta and popsicles for a week or so afterwards. Last dance: Fast dancing happens almost daily while I am cleaning or doing something in my house. Slow dance, though, would have been “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes” quite a while ago with the hubby. Really need to take him slow dancing more often. Yo-Yo: Yes, several, and I could never, ever get it to work. Even today, I can’t do it. Just can’t get my wrist to flick that way. There you go, Claudia! Always a good day when I can answer some fragen!

Otters! Had a friend at work for a bit who was obsessed with otters. Pictures of otters all over the place. She was the press liaison too for the Erie Otters, a hockey team near here. If you're interested in intelligent animals investigate crows. In particular, the New Caledonian crow will solve multi-step problems to acquire food that's out of reach. They'll make tools in order to do it as well. They're fascinating. There was a documentary here in the US called "The Secret Life of Crows" that came out in 2014. I feel like it may have been PBS but maybe Discovery too. I can't recall.

Guten Morgen Schätzchen. A nice Donnerstag to everyone. Are you all well? Last night I was hoping for an interesting encounter... well, I got one. I was woken up by a strange, wailing sound. So I went outside... there was a peacock sitting on my rooftop screaming like a banshee. Apparently someone in the village got the peacock for Christmas and it was on a little exploring tour. The kittens were so excited, they´ ve never seen one before... I fear for the poor Pfau - peacock. Hahaha. The daily Fragen... Wie lang - how long has it been since you last finished a book? If you were suddenly shrunk to only 6 inches tall who' d be the first person you' d go to? Would you prefer 300 dollars in 20s or 100s? Have you ever spent a Feiertag - holiday in a hotel? I finally figured out how to change out the bulb in my daughter's room. I've come to realize that whom ever renovated this condo had the forsight to pick the craziest and most expensive light fixtures to mount. Not only that they picked different types of bulbs for each room. The bulbs for my daughter's rrom is $20 for a set of 2 AND you shouldn't touch it with your bare skin!!! What on earth? Crazy ass people! Fragen time. Book? If e-books count it's been about 6 months. Shrunk? I'd have to go to my daughter so she can call my nearest relative so they can take me to the hospital. 300? I have to ask this question almost every day @ work. I'll take 20's. Even though I'd be reluctant to spend 100's. Merchants hate 100's because they're likely to be counterfeit. Hotel? About 14 yrs ago I spent Valentine's Day in a hotel. Turned out to be a disaster. The shower/tub was clogged, college students were freaking loud all night and our meal at the restaurant sucked! That's it ladies have a wonderful day/night!!!

No New Year's plans as of yet, save to do some laundry and house-cleaning—I always say this, but it never happens. :V I certainly want to bake some more bread, though; I got a baking stone for Christmas, and with payday on Friday, I can afford to get some parchment paper to complete the list of things that will make my bread-baking endeavors easier. And now, this: <b>The best banana</b> — I like my bananas with just a touch of green at the stem, ideally before they start to brown, if I'm eating out of hand. I made a peanut-butter-and-banana sandwich exactly once, and discovered that overripe bananas are much better for that. I wonder how a honey-almond-butter-and-banana sandwich would turn out? 🤔 <b>"I've got to go..."</b> — I don't think I've ever lied to end a phone conversation, although I have been in some long ones. Perhaps people have lied to get me off the phone, instead. 😅 <b>Moving earth</b> — I'm told that I have, in fact, been present during very small earthquakes (set off by hydraulic fracturing of shale to extract petroleum), but I never noticed them. <b>Parental likeness</b> — I am a distressingly equal admixture of the two. I would much rather be like neither of them, as my parents are not really the best people, and certainly not to each other. Maybe if I live away from them long enough, that'll be true.
