Hi everyone!
Just over the bell I managed to record everything I needed before the government locked me out of my shop (I completely agree with that decision btw)  and I've been editing like crazy mostly at nights when my two critters are in bed to bring you this!
A few months ago I shared around here pictures of this project, the final design has nothing to do with that old design because I found a fatal flaw with it. What I'm showing in this video is me making one of the two trucks that the skateboard will have. The skateboard will steer exactly like a regular skateboard, by leaning on the board, hence all the work done in the video to guess the clearance holes required for the bar that will cross each of the trucks.
The skateboard will be 2X2, two wheels driven two wheels steer which means that there will be an exact copy of this tread mirrored in the back with another motor. I'm pretty happy with the feeling when steering it with my feet and almost all my weight on it, my bet is that it is going to work amazingly well when finished. Sadly it'll take a while for me to be able to go to a beach and test it but the wait will make it even better.
The truck is missing a beefy rubber band that will go from the front and back vertical plates to the steel cross tube to keep the entire thing from trying to flip when applying power. Just imagine what happens in a motorbike when you apply too much gas, that, to avoid that.
Before closing the shop I managed to cut a few rods and bring a printer home so I may get you a new quarantine maker video soon.
As always I'll love to read your comments.
Thanks!!

Amazing Ivan, really looking forward to seeing this. Will you be at Makers Central again in Birmingham NEC? I know it's delayed, although have my tickets booked :-D.
