Hey guys,
So this week I was playing a bit with some new software, it's called Wrap and it allows you to transfer shape from one model to another (also textures).
Now why is this useful? The models that I am using are imported from Daz 3D, They are very good meshes and have immense support - corrective morphs, expression morphs, clothes, hair etc...
The trouble is, when I want to use a video game character (let's say SFM model), I can either use the original mesh, which doesn't have any of the bells and whistles I mentioned, or I have to somehow transfer the shape and textures to the DAZ 3D model. This is what I did in the past, with more or less succes. Especially Miranda always gave me issues, if you look at my older works involving her she never really looked *quite* right in my opinion.
However with the new software, I was able to transfer the shape and textures perfectly on the Daz model (attached picture) in minutes. I am showing her without hair, because that's much harder to get right.
This gives me very interesting options for the future to quickly add new models, because when the base model is prepared (with physics, genitals etc.), all I need to do is add the new shape and textures. In fact, I used this approach in the past, but the process of adding new shape was not trivial.
As for the Diner for Three scene, render is almost finished and I am told by the VAs that they should be done soon as well. I started working on the cumshot scene in the meantime. So hopefully this project is done soon.
