As reminded by the youtube, on amazing how well it was produced in one take if remembered correctly. 

I think one of the reasons is the quality of the song itself namely melody and lyrics. The first take maybe strongly felt by those doing the storytelling. Remotely relating to how creators strongly motivated to put it into their work (writing below based from source: Wikipedia).

In 1970s, Siouxsie and the Banshees wrote signature song Hong Kong Garden for strong stance over conflict at that restaurant. The experimental sound of oriental theme along with the power guitar play. It formulated a structure that worked well when telling story of region other than local. The band had Robert Smith from The Cure as their supporting act during the tour and occasional guitarist for the band.

Around same time, when their song with Arabian theme used middle eastern style string arrangement, but like Hong Kong Garden with power guitar play.

In 1980s, HK band Beyond made an initial impression into mainstream music scene as a band playing exotic sound with "Arabian Dancing Girl". If they are connected in terms of inspiration/influence, it's a full circle between HK and UK. Not on same scale as "We are the World" over its impact in bringing causes for awareness, but music wise its blend gave reference to pop music development to bands that followed.

回應【隨緣家書大長篇】 海外港人瀰漫的白色恐怖:抗壓能力不及中國大陸自由派的十個理由 可能因為我悲觀,我從來不太褒獎香港人 當然,很多人性光輝歷歷在目: 19年的團結和令人動容的畫面、認罪和不認罪的47人、更甚是無名無姓在牆牆內的人,我哋見過,真係見過 但沈教授教落,凡事要看結構 19年的一切,從我悲觀的看法,我會視之為功利;一隻黑天鵝,激發了反對條件繼而爭取民主的大浪,加上林鄭(與警方)的決定和行動,造就了一場完美風暴;就像當日MIRROR突然爆紅,誘發點是叱吒頒了男金給姜B,然後其他因素如廣告商瘋搶、女性寂寞良久、社會需要快樂、變相表達民意等,都是因果之間的曖昧,就像風眼壁的風和雨,都不可能分得出是因還是果;而在這場完美風暴下,幾萬人、一百萬人、二百萬人,終於過了Critical Mass,抗爭變成不可逆轉及「有利可圖」,就連部分傳統保守派(及後的藍營)都認為是次抗爭可以達致一些令香港長遠得益的改變,因此大部分港人選擇揹水一戰去到盡(覺得勝算高),不論是為了高尚的理想還是實際的利益;可惜,兩架對頭車的司機到最後一秒都沒有一個願意扭軚,結果都雙雙車毁人亡 幾年過後,熱情冷卻,或者因「輸得太徹底」,面對宇宙法下的現實,大部分人性光輝消失了,去日本的去日本,去山姆的去山姆,做港豬,做到盡,也就是原本19年前的模樣,而且沒有了過往要爭取民主的包袱,於是可以比以往豬得更盡,一切只有利益和享樂,娛樂至死,當被問到23條,大家都江青上身「我什麼都不知道」 至於牆外港人,寄望過他們當Diaspora,建立非地理香港,卻因人質物質、生活艱難及時間的沖淡,演化成最能代表港人的「搵食啫,犯法呀?」港人在外活動彷彿無以為繼,移民都89年化了,即純粹走難,而非有使命感;純觀察,沒有對錯,not judging 19年是完美風暴下港人人性高光時刻,有人堅持至今,有人食返美心;19前和現在才是港人的本質和生活模式的結構,除了還殘餘被灌輸的英式文明外(如看法律是看條文,而非人治),悲觀的我認為一般港人不見得比國內的人高尚很多(不要跟還踎在街上吐痰的自由行比較),外國人看港人外遊醜態可能不亞於我們看小紅書特種兵;現在面對宇宙法,沒有受過真正的「國情教育」,更沒有幾代跟黨周旋的傳承智慧,一時處理不了而hang機,要用safe mode重新開機,實屬可以理解的範圍以內;問題是於safe mode下,不論下一代跟隨外地的華語系統關係網(97那批已落地生根的都是藍的較多)還是全面融入西方,香港的概念都會變得薄弱,繼而消失(現在回望,還是很難跟Jews相比,not even close);不要忘記,一般,I mean literally一般港人,都未必有足夠水平(當然,足夠興否是相對的,看看港人閱讀的習慣與數量便知一二)去堅持當日的使命,正如牆牆內的,有認罪有不認罪,每人總得要有當刻下的考慮及操作,認罪(類比海外港人「認命」搵食行先)是合情合理 最後的頭盔是,堅持與否和所謂(教育)水平高沒絕對關係,很多時候更是仗義每多屠狗輩,越尊嚴,越錫身;純粹是人口當中有多少%能達到某個堅持的程度,那個%以外的就是literally一般人 打飛機很容易,說實話卻很難 可能因為我悲觀
