Yea I agree with Stash! The mech aspect is basically a means of war the real plot only uses it for that measure! Just see it as a sword or a titan ability in other anime lol

That may be true but it's the equivalent of trying to get someone to watch your seasonal isekai when they don't like isekai. bc politics and everything looks like gundams and that tag has been saturated so much, the audience comes to the table with preconceptions (just like vivy and 86)
