Ashe' calling Prettyboy Willy "Brad Pitt from Interview with a Vampire" is something I will hold onto for a long time. Not only is that completely accurate, its very very funny. My fav part of the epi was the soiree scene, the part with our kids working super hard to serve (been there fam) and the part where were shown the mingling of the elites of the different nations and how they had known each other intimately since they were kids themselves. The part where the host has a freudian slip only to be rhetorically saved by Slick Willy was hilarious. I remember this sentiment pretty much from Animal Farm, like the animals were supposed to demonize, hate, and murder people on Foxwood Farms but trade with and respect the people of Pinchfield Farms (both farms with people the citizens never met or knew anything about). Then their leader make a new deal or get screwed by the leaders of the other farms, and now the animals must have their feelings about those other people manipulated and completely reversed to fit the new arrangement. Here, the smallest slip of the tongue reveals the facade. The sudden dissolving and martialing of hate towards people you don't even know doesn't land morally, it takes a smooth talking evangelist using charisma, doublespeak, and diversion to explain how you should feel and he gets you to go along, like a PR genius. I was really intrigued listening to Canadian Willy(ok ill stop with the nicknames) talk about how heavy "the wheel" is, how the Tyburs were responsible for the downfall of Eldia, and now Marley, and about how the world needs a hero like Helos to get behind. I also do not think Willy holds the Warhammer, but I agree with Ashe that in the past each Titan power was probably held by a lineage. It makes sense the Tybur family is so large, for the same reason playboy Rod had to keep his family large. Stache added a lot to my thinking when he was reiterating the convo between General Magath and Willy. Their two convo' about "who is the real leader" reminded me a lot of Hange' and Sannes' convo in S3P1 about the weight of keeping order within an organization, and makes me think about the iron law of oligarchy.
