Overwhelming Tactician

Interesting point about Luffy being more of a badass. One of the biggest complaints i had about the Live Action was how weak they made Luffy, Im glad yall also picked up on that.

Its hard to capture that magic in live action but I still think they did a pretty decent job. Though there are points in the story of OP where the creativity and scale just goes full on SAKUGA! So I have some concerns how they will be able to tackle these set pieces in live action moving into further seasons.

wow, i have not seen the earlier episodes in awhile. I got super nostalgic seeing that opening it gave me major goosebumps. i cant wait to watch you guys go through this journey while also seeing everything again.

If you have a fairly recent Android phone, I just discovered you can use MX Player. It has some settings you can disable which causes it to ignore other apps playing video. The only catch is that you will have to download the episode to your phone since it is a local video player. I played the Patreon video full screen, swiped up to put it in picture-in-picture mode (split screen mode on Android may work as well), then launched MX Player to watch the episode. I turned off audio in MX Player since there is no app specific volume as far as I can tell. BOLDcast have the show audio in their version so syncing just the video off of that works fine.

Both Luffy and Shanks are WAY better in anime/manga. Mihawk is actually the only character who I think they did better in live action. I never really cared that much for Mihawk in manga/anime so kudos to them he he was one of the highlights along with Zeff and Buggy in Live Action
