Quick update 29 Nov. 2023 (Patreon)

This will be the last update before the release.

Nothing is perfect, but it is mostly functional. There are scenes with media but no text, scenes with text but no media, etc. Very few, if any, coding errors.

My plan is to spend as much time as possible over the next 12-15 hours tying up together some of the missing scenes and doing a few more playthroughs for testing purposes. Then, I will upload it. Consider this an "alpha" or "beta" version. There won't be a walkthrough until I get to the "full" version 0.1.0 (probably only another week or two). With the update I will also provide a detailed list of content, as I don't currently have the in-game tips system ready to go. It will be ready for the "full" version 0.1.0 release.

Because the current state of the game is still missing some important plot points, I will keep going at full speed for the next few weeks. As I make progress towards a more "finished" version, I will update more frequently, possibly as often as once a week during the next 2-3 weeks. I am making such good progress right now that I want to keep the momentum going, at least until the holidays.

Once the new year hits, the regular schedule will be content poll(s) the first week and a release toward the end of each month. I will try to provide a short development post every week. Keeping the updates/releases small will allow them to be more frequent and will help prevent radio silence in between larger updates, months apart. It will also help to prevent any "scope creep" story-wise. I have a relatively straightforward plot in mind for each of the different paths. 

I also want to keep the updates on this new game small so that I can continue my work on IHOH at the same time. That will start with fixing code that may not be terribly visible on the front end for the first few months. Next, there are a few features included in this new game that I will be incorporating into IHOH once they have been thoroughly tested. Once those tasks have been completed, I will have had enough practice with the writing that I should be able to pick up where we left off.
