Some people asked me about transit and how to use it or to replace it in Bitwig. And even if i made a video before it was released about FinalBoost & Endless Smile, I made this one today as a replacement for my failed 3rd plugdata video 😅

“It’s modulators all the way down!” Was expecting this video. It might still help people understand the Bitwig way. You could have talked about randomization as it’s one of Transit’s highlights… which can easily work in BWS. Of course, a benefit of using a plugin like this one is that you could use the same FX in different DAWs. Not sure how frequently it happens, though (that people would use the same FX in different DAWs). A benefit of BWS is that it’s crossplatform, including on Linux. So, if you create a project on one machine with such modulated FX, you could have the same on another one without having to worry about whether or not that machine has Transit properly installed. (At this point, I’m dreaming of Bitwig GmbH partnering up with a hardware maker to create a dedicated standalone Linux machine which would rival Ableton’s Push 3. It could run all Grid patches better than the Push running M4L devices. A limited GUI would be much less of a problem than elsewhere, in part because of BWS’s modulation system.)
