This looks like a good low level tool that would work with math and logic to create something useful. But given the limited size of the array I'd say it was less useful for audio data and more useful for control data? For example, maybe it could store pitches for a scale? Generating the data in the grid then storing it really begs the question as to why you need it, unless it's for out of order access, like pitches. If you could have a function that would import external data (Scala file) or any other external generated file then it would be really cool. But if I can generate scale data in the grid then can't I just generate it on the fly when I need it? I hope Bitwig gets some kind of text file reader, or midi file, for the grid one day.
