So I know a lot of people have deep feelings about the book to movie debate and how accurate you should stick to a story. Sometimes it makes more sense to change a story when you adapt it to film or the stage because things that work in one format don't necessarily translate to another. In this case, things that look AMAZING in film--car chases--don't work as well in book form. Basically, it gets super repetitive. East Bound was starting to get like that --and when I go back to compile this, it might already be there, so perhaps I'll have to change some stuff. Smokey and the Bandit is a car chase movie, but they almost never leave the car. I decided Bo and Reed needed some outside time. So I'm going to veer from the script and see where this bonkers story takes me. Honestly, I feel like bonkers is my skill set, so I'm going to go for it. You'll get a little more outside the cutter stuff in this chapter and more in the next. I hope you all enjoy it.
