Howdy y'all,  this is Diesel and I just wanna give everybody an update on the state of the animations, specifically the HD animations, at this point in development. 

So the past few months the animation team has hit some speed-bumps on our HD progress, as I'm sure a fair number of you have noticed.  

The reason for this is due to a number of unforeseen issues including:  

  • Seth leaving the project, and finding/training our newest animator 
  • physical health issues on my part, including some recent back pain caused by my move 
  • mental health issues. our animator, Red, has had a particularly rough time recently, and as a team we're working with her to help get them help. Additionally, in the short term we're restructuring our work pipeline slightly to have Red concentrate on in-game animations like sprite sex, overworld assets and combat, while I focus on HDs. 

We're hoping that this is all just temporary setbacks that, with a little bit of restructuring and elbow-grease, we can get ourselves set back on track. While im sorry that we're still behind on the Brontide and Male Lamia HDs, the lions share of the labor is done with all of them, and its just a matter of pulling them together, and then moving on to Goldra!

PS: The most complete animations with "WIP" warnings on them will be going in with the release tomorrow and being hotfixed as we get them patched up. ~Judge Heath.

Sending my best to the whole team! It's better to rest and recover than to unhealthily push past your limits. So happy to see that the cloud meadow team looks out for each other when we hear about so many game companies that work their employees to the bone.

We're very serious about keeping our team healthy and together. It's part of the reason our contracts specifically state that folks work to the clock, not to the project, and they can't be coerced by any means (such as threat of firing) to work beyond their schedule, without the contract being in breach. ~JH

There is also one animation that is stuck in unfinished limbo. Evan x F Centaur. She still doesn't have coloured tail in the climax scene for last +- 3 months.

completely didnt realize that was the case. It's actually been finished, but i havent exported it -_- thank you for pointing this out, this should be fixed by the next hotfix.
