On Friday I emailed Michael Dell a lengthy and detailed account of his company's many failings. A whole different department called me today and offered to send me a new computer of equal or better stats.

At this point I would just accept it and vow to never buy another Dell again.

Is the Hard drive gone?what is lost?

So Dell's policy at their "Repair" Depot is to throw away anything that isn't stock instead of just leaving in the computer or throwing it in the box with the computer that they're already shipping back to the customer. No data was lost. I still have my 8TB HHD in a hard drive reader. I also have all of my art backed up on an external hard drive. The only thing lost is the 8TB SSD. Once I receive the new computer, I'll get another 8TB SSD. I will also blast them on their FB social media and in another email to the CEO.
