Ooh, I'm sure fans of Ji Chang Wook and Wi Ha Jun are getting excited for this!

Show's synopsis on MDL reads:

"Set in Seoul in the 1990s, a former DJ starts selling a new powerful drug nicknamed "Gangnam Crystal" in city nightclubs after mastering a gangster organization. 

Since the police know little about the origin of such drugs, in order to crack down on this rampant drug trafficking organization, rural police officer Park Jun Mu is assigned to sneak into the organization, only to discover that his wife, Yoo Eui Jung , also a detective, has volunteered to participate in this dangerous mission and seems to have an unspeakable past with the heinous underground drug king. 

Park Jun Mu in this drug-related mission, not only do he wholeheartedly fight the drug cartel, but also work hard to protect his wife's safety at all times."

Im Sei Mi also stars, alongside Ji Chang Wook and Wi Ha Jun.

Show will be 12 eps, and will air from 27 September to 25 October, on Disney+ and Hulu.

Title: The Worst of Evil Release date: September 27 Plot: Park Joon-Mo (Ji Chang-Wook) is a police officer. For a drug investigation that leads into the drug trade between South Korea, China, and Japan, Park Joon-Mo infiltrates a criminal organization. Meanwhile, Park Joon-Mo is married to Yoo Ui-Jung (Lim Se-Mi). She is also a police officer and becomes involved in the drug investigation that her husband is working on. Appearing by them is Jung Ki-Cheol (Wi Ha-Joon). He is the charismatic boss of a newly formed crime organization.

Looks very interesting to me. From this trailer it is even literally dark. So many night scenes and inside with dim lights and shadowy faces. That one shot of the scene all dark except the bright outdoor light way in the background that illuminates JCW. Nice

OK just watched the trailer haha. It gives me very Infernal Affairs vibes (the HK crime thriller starring Andy Lau and Tony Leung, one was a gangster mole in the police and the other was a police mole in the gangster society and the cat-and-mouse game they were in)

Elaine - you are spot on and possibly it could be true as well in the sense that they must have been inspired by Internal Affairs. I am not complaining though as I can get to see JCW/Wi Ha-Joon for 12 episodes and add-in all the promotions work as bonus 😇❤️🌟.
