Never say never, y'know.

Kim Young Ok, who, at 84 years old, has been in the acting business for 65 years, is finally headlining a movie for the first time. YOU GO, GIRL!!! 🤩🤩

The story is about an elderly lady (played by Kim Young Ok) and her struggles and heartaches, as she meets strangers whom she treats as family. That totally sounds like the kind of heartwarming story that I'd love.

Kim Young Min (My Mister, CLOY) will co-star.

The movie is set to release in April this year.

KFG ❤️

'Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha' Actress Kim Young Ok's First Lead Role Movie 'Take Care of Mom' Confirms Release Date

Interestingly, this is the veteran actress' first big break on the big screen after starring in supporting roles for movies, such as "Casa Amor: Exclusive for Ladies," "Granny's Got Talent," and comedy film "Makgeolli Girls." The upcoming movie is a family drama that focuses on the 85-year-old woman named Ms. Lim, played by Kim Young Ok.
