To be honest, I didn't have a whole lot of interest in this one, back when it was first announced. All I knew was that it was an Lee Min Ho drama, and would be produced by Apple TV+. Neither of which are things that make me go, Wow, amazing! 😅

BUT. Now that the trailer is out, I have to say, it looks extremely intriguing!

It looks epic and sprawling, yet also promises to have a good amount of emotional heft. Plus, it's Youn Yuh Jung, who's basically amazing. In anything. 🤩

Plus, in the few seconds that Lee Min Ho appears in the trailer, I actually think he looks great in the part, and for the times.

The story is based on the novel of the same name by Min Jin Lee, and chronicles the story of a Korean immigrant family across 4 generations as they leave their homeland to pursue their dreams.

To be clear, this is more of an American production, so Show isn't even listed on MyDramaList. But it does look like it will be worth putting on the ol' Neverending List?

Show is 8 episodes, and will drop on Apple TV+ on 25 March 2022.

KFG ❤️

Production values for this look off the charts. It's gonna look really pretty...hope the substance lives up to the look! Also, Jin Ha! Nowhere near his biggest role, but I still remember being amazed by his rendition of Annas in NBC's live version of Jesus Christ Superstar several years ago. NBC has of course policed all clips, so can't post any youtube links, but it was pretty great.
