long story short: pallas sees everyone he cares about die, makes clones of himself and them to save them, and the original pallas lives alone while the clones are dormant and makes sure they have a chance at surviving

then he dies alone

(and then the au begins, where clone everyone has fun times, unaware that a pallas died to make it possible)

this is so sad ;___; I know I'm reiterating what I said earlier about this piece, but the emotion in it is really palpable; I think you are VERY talented at capturing emotion in all your work, and this sketch comic format just adds to that strength. the sadness and loneliness in Pallas' expressions are so raw and you can feel them, and the starkness of his small figure against the blank background in the "but now I'll never get to" panel really hammers it home. this is really well done, thank you for posting it and sharing it with us ;^;
