the song was meant for the spider man across the spider verse movie but the sample didnt get cleared in time so I guess that's why it seems like they just put it

Where are the verses?! I just hear the same chorus when I listen to this song. But I don't think this fits the image the industry built for ice spice. I'm kind of sad that Rema keeps pairing with these girls that don't have anything to add to his talent. Like Selena, for example, he makes that song good, not her, by a long shot.

I would agree if it was his song but it's hers. He's only on the chorus so his talent isn't really even being showcased, highly doubt this is benefiting him more. Looks like she has him as a feature to tap into the afrobeats crowd

She has a bigger following then him. shes more mainstream and she just took him on snl to perform this song. Shes definitely getting him out there mire and giving him so more exposure to the mainstream media while shes getting more exposure to his audience

Ice spice is overrated. Like i don’t get the hype with her music. I’m not saying that just cause I don’t like her music. Like I don’t listen to Beyoncé but I get why she’s huge and popular because she’s really talented. But with Ice Spice I’m starting to question like why people are overhyping her songs. That’s just me lol Yh this song is a no. Rema could’ve did this song by himself tbh.

I disagree. Rema is HUGE, and ultimately She doesn’t have a single song the size of “Calm Down”. She might be bigger in the US but he has a bigger overall international presence, I think this could have been beneficial for both, had it been good.
