I only think Cardi’s part took it to the overly sexual degree. I think that without Cardi, this song would just be sensual or sexy rather than overtly sexual. Apparently the song was planned to be a solo song but Cardi was the one who said that she wanted to be on it after being shown a couple of songs that Normani was working on. The song has been growing on me steadily to the point where I reeeeally like it now, the Aaliyah sample is 👌🏾. But I think the video is even better, the camera work and the choreo and the outfits, it’s all really well done IMO

I personally enjoyed the whole song including Cardi’s part. I feel like Cardi helped Normani step out her confront zone but that’s just me !

Yeah, I’m really feeling this song and video, everything except Cardi’d verse. And I like Cardi I just feel like she took the sex appeal to a different level that wasn’t needed for this particular song but that’s just my opinion. And Normani is always fucking it up when it comes to the dance moves!!!! Come through!
