Yayyyyy. I love all of dee's reactions, whether she likes them or whether she does,I always like how she accepts different recommendations. And I definitely respect the whole dance opinion. Lisa(wears bangs) is considered a great dancer but yea she holds back due to their label being pretty lazy unless it comes to their visual quality. Can u react to Mamamoo- Starry Night Mamamoo-Egoistic I feel like u would like them. They are vocal queens and I would say they have a more womanly kinda western vibe that's pretty different from other kpop girlgroups. They are more of a vocal group and considered the best of of current kpop girlgroups. They arent dance focused yet they still do their choreo even if it's not heavy most of the time,but they still gave shown talent in dancing and are very charismatic. I always liked how they might not have choreo like twice or bp but mamamoo definitely work well with their dances and their vocals and charisma is the key. Plus they are weird crackheads that I love lol

I don't agree with "their company is lazy" when it comes to dance. YG has always focused on having memorable key point choreography so that they can still sing live. Which worked for them since they won Best Dance awards at Melon/MAMA. Other girl groups do difficult/intricate choreo because for the most part they lipsync i.e. TWICE (which I don't mind). You may hear a backing track at times but BLACKPINK always sings live.

Your take on BLACKPINK not selling the "bad girl" image is interesting. I'm a BLINK (Blackpink stan) through and through but that's something I've been thinking recently. Maybe they should switch up their concept a bit. They have a song called As If It's Your Last which which has a mix of very girly bubblegum elements and edgy parts too. I've always felt that was their best song (my favourite) and the most natural for them during promotion. I think they get into a thing of wanting to appeal to the western market which prefers a darker sound hence the trap elements to the beats. Don't get it twisted I love all their songs.

Yeah agreed, I think they should switch it up. Haven't heard that particular song but your description of it sounds like it fits them perfectly. They come off as very girly so I would like to see them embrace that more, especially if fans notice it seems more natural for them. I think they're adorable though, looking forward to seeing more from them

I respect bp and tho I'm not a blink,I do support them cuz I really like their music,visuals and personalities. But dance wise,yg should give them more moves. It was only recently that (jennie, lisa and rosé started majorly improving on their live vocals for HYLT but I do get what u mean in a sense but still. They might call say they make the choreo uniquely for the girls but the girls tend to repeat many motions and moves in their choreo. Many kpop groups do repeat moves too, but bp's choreo is pretty lackluster. I do like HYLT and Dont know what to do choreo and I like lisa's dance films. But the others werent my taste,though I know they all dance well. Again I'm coming at YG not the girls or u lol,not trying to sound negative

i'm not a blink but among the many reason's as to why i'm not the whole "they don't fit their concept" thing is defintely one if them. i just don't get the whole bad girl thing for them like, their company (YG entertainment) wants them to have this bad b**ch look but i just don't think it fits them at all. the main reason i never became a blink although i tried to is because all their songs have a similar formular, their concept doesn't fit in my opinion, their company is trash and i don't want to support it and then because their choreo (although it's fun to learn and stuff because it's mostly simple) doesn't really allow them to shine. i know that lisa (bangs) is the best dancer in the group and does her own solo stuff but she's not really given any chance to shine in choreo which has always been strange to me but, again, it's YG's fault. i think YG does well with their choreo on the most part because, at the end of the day, all they want is a simple choreography with a memorable move in the chorus (the gun motion in D4, the gun motion in Kill This Love, the little head tilting thing in How You Like That). and YG knows how successful BP is which is why they don't give them many comebacks, do the bare minimum (most of the time) when it comes to choreo and stick to the same formula and bad girl theme in most of their title songs. they know that anything BP does will rake in money so they don't really care if they work hard on it or not. they just pay a hella high budget for the MV to mask the fact that they're lazy, in my opinion. BP aren't allowed to write their own lyrics because YG doesn't let them and they have this kinda favouritism thing towards Jennie (the one on the tank with the shopping bags) but that's a whole different story. but yeah, what i'm trying to say is that if you don't think their concept fits or don't like their choreo just know that it's really not the girl's fault since they have no control over lyrics, choreo or concept. i'm not even a BP stan but i always watch their MVs when they have something new out because i don't dislike them either. i just wish that they were allowed to show their full potential tbh. as for a girl group who you might like, maybe check out Mamamoo like some people have said. they might be more your style since they have a more mature look. 💞
