✨Activities:✨
Decorate Pumpkins:
Paint ‘em, carve them, just stick ‘em on your front porch - it matters not. What matters is getting in the spooky vibe and having a good time.
Watch Movies & Make Spooky Snacks:
I like to make chocolate bats and pumpkins, fill little cauldrons with candy, and dress hot chocolates with cute little ghost marshmallows. It doesn’t have to be fancy, just so long as it gets you in those autumnal, spooky feels. I also recommend big thick socks, lots of blankets and candles. Snuggle up and get spooky.
Buy Spooky Bath Bombs & Make a Fun Bath Cauldron:
You can find pumpkin bath bombs on Amazon and most other places in October. Put the bath bomb in, light candles, put on some spooky tunes or even a horror audiobook and indulge in the deliciously dark vibes. I also recommend a glass of red wine along side it.
Have a Small Spooky Party:
I don’t do well hosting big gatherings, but I’m very comfy with a bunch of people coming over, eating food and watching horror movies. And so, that’s what I’m doing. I’m super excited because this year I’ve planned ahead, got spooky plates and cups, bat helium balloons, and I’m even making a special ghost cake. Whether you like big meet ups or something on the smaller side, it’s a great excuse to hang out with your people and enjoy the spooky season.
Go for a Spooky Walk (But Be Safe):
What I really love about Autumn is that it gets dark early. And to me, the earlier it’s dark, the sooner the spooky vibes commence. Some people feel that Autumn is miserable and dreary, but personally, I think there’s a lot of romance surrounding colder weather. It makes you wanna cuddle up, wear thick layers and get all settled and snug in your house.
To me, there’s nothing cosier then taking my dogs out for their final walk, feeling the crisp leaves underfoot and the cold air in your lungs. Just obviously make sure to be safe, stay in well-lit areas and keep your wits about you. One of the huge perks of having big dogs is that they work as a natural “don’t even think about it, buddy” sign.
