Render Testing This Weekend (Patreon)

Hello all! So today was very weird... I went ahead and committed to the new render engine Redshift and bought 2, $500 licenses to start rendering. I was so excited to start rendering and so I got everything setup, gleefully hit BATCH RENDER and... BAAM crash! I was like hmm thats odd and so I tried again CRASH. Well, after having a heart attack at spendibg $5000 on a new computer/software/rendering license that didnt work, I spent the whole day figuring out what was wrong. Annnnnnnnd the culprit was a file with an underscore in its name.... yep, Maya hates underscores. 

SOOOOOOOO the good news is, the rendering is working now! ANNNNNNND its taking less than 5 minutes per frame!!!!! O M G I cannot begin to explain how happy I am!!!!!! My previous render engine was taking 10-30 minuted per frame for final rendering. So this is like THE BEST EVER. I am so so so excited 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

Ok so, I am going to let the intro finish rendering and then I will post a final quality render preview here. If all looks well, I will full steam ahead with the animation and shoot for finishing this next part at lightning speed. I literally lost weeks and weeks to rendering with the last 2 episodes so this will save soooooooo much time.

I want to make 100% sure the renders look good before I go full on animator mode. So I just wanted to keep everyone up to date with whats going on.

Ok, sorry for ranting on I am just so happy I wish I could fully explain what a gigantic relief this is.

Soooo look for a post sometime this weekend or Monday of the intro rendered at full quality :)
