Mary's New Bedroom - Test Render (Need Thoughts/Feedback) (Patreon)

Heya all. So, I am working on getting Mary's new bedroom setup with the new render engine but I wanted to check in for some thoughts and feedback.

Please let me know what you think or if you have any idea's to make it look a bit prettier. I DO think I will change the wall painting to something more floral.

Maybe make it slightly darker out the window so the warm light from the lamps is more apparent? Makes it look all romantic. :P

I think it looks great. My only thoughts are that it looks more like a hotel room rather than a teen girls room. Maybe some posters on the walls....futa girl posters perhaps :) All in all it's awesome though. Keep up all the great work!

Heya Shadow! Well, this is Mary's room BUT I will be doing Maggies bedroom for AML5 and it will look much more girly. And I LOVE the poster idea and will totally do that!

Oh I like these colours quite a bit, red can be such a sensual colour which is just perfect for the bed and the activities that will take place there 😉. I also like the yellowish tone of the bed frame and drawers on either side of it, to me it almost has a goldish tint and gold and red tend to work well together. The floor, walls and ceilings being such a pale tone is a good idea too, makes the yellow/red tones of the bed pop more and I would imagine that that's where our focus will be in future animations, so it's a good idea to make sure the surrounding walls and floor don't distract from the bed. I like your idea of changing the painting to something floral, I feel that that will be more fitting, definitely more romantic which is always a good thing. As for making the room prettier, well the floral painting will help with that. Perhaps pink or purple pillows on the bed? (though I do like the current white pillows) A rug has already been suggested, something with floral patterns also and a colour like pink or purple could be good, something to stand out from the floor but not too much to distract from the bed. Oh and this isn't to do with the room, but I see that Maggie's hair looks rather white here, I actually really like that 😻. Anywho, hope my feedback helps you, Red 😸

Oh, just realised seeing your other responses that given that this is Mary's room, my suggestion of pink things wouldn't be the best. I still think purples could work or perhaps some more red items. The idea of a red motif for Mary's room could be a fun idea, give her a bit of colour association. Though having said that, in previous pinups, you've given Mary purple items before so that could also work very well... I will admit, I'm heavily biased in favour of purple 😹💜

Real bedrooms have clutter on the nightstands and stuff. Maybe some books, a cellphone, reading glasses (if Mary needs those yet), etc. Omitting that gives more of a porno-set feel rather than a lived-in feel. So given that, either will work. If the clutter will significantly affect render times, leave it out. :P

heya Matthew, you are 100% right. I think clutter would add to the scene for sure. They will barely affect render times so I dont see the harm in adding some =) Great idea, thank you!

I agree with you on red being a sensual colour and I do like your idea of wanting to give her room an overall red theme. I look forward to seeing what you end up settling on after you do your own further experimentation with colours, lighting etc 😸

My suggestion would be a rug on the floor at the foot of the bed, perhaps some picture frames on the nightstand of her favorite two girls, and a little bit of clutter for sure, maybe a potted plant in the corner or some flowers on the nightstand, an alarm clock or box of tissues? or even some naughty bits like a bottle of lube, a dildo or a fleshlight (omg now I'm thinking of Mary using a flashlight and I think I'm bordering on obsession over the idea!) It's a pretty setup as is, but it does feel a bit sterile.

The red is great, but as others have already pointed out more clutter would be good. I really like the idea of mirrors as well but wouldn't that really increase rendering time? If so then I'd say don't use them. But I think it would be fitting if Mary had some things that hint at her risque past. Maybe some trophies from Wet T-shirt contents or "Most hung futa Spring break 20XX" or something.

i think if you make the curtains a darker color it will pull the room together more.

you got some good materials, but the bed might be a little to clean, i might be the lighting on the render though. but thats all i got right now :)

Not a huge fan of the painting behind the bed, but apart from that, looks great! Oh and the red dress is perfect too!
