Let's go Literally one of the worst day I've lived.... Like... I was sooooo emotionally confused lmao since I stan all of them but I had to pick a side and it had to be no matter what Pentagon... The struggle of the voting the stress the... EVERYTHING bruh I was a mess 😅 Here I am few days later I'm happy and proud to say that Pentagon proved how talented they are and they did such a great job at comforting us that I'm now okay and tbh even tho I still feel a bit sad about the fact that they didn't win.. I just want to forget now and move on, and yes. THE BOYZ DIDBDIDBDISBFISBFIDHEUFGDU in the moment I couldn't really enjoy it coz I was a mess but now. I'm happy to say that I'm hella proud of them especially Haknyeon he did it 🥺❤ Anyway I hope in the future you will not forget about these amazing groups I'm now gonna start watching

I’ve been with the boyz since pre debut and it is so exciting seeing them grow every time I see them and this show just proved that the boyz biggest advantage was their creativity. The boyz have such a charm to them that you just can’t explain as they are so exciting to watch. I wish everyone could get the chance to go to kingdom but nonetheless I’m happy with the results. I hope you can/will watch some more content on them. They have their a reality show where they make and own restaurant called “flower snack” it shows their personalities very well if you are looking for another quick show in between kingdom! Also Eric is a very super silly and big hearted guy hope you get to know them more! (Ps. You actually remind me of Jacob from the boyz your mannerisms are kind of similar to me)

I kinda expected The Boyz to win after seeing all their performances they truly amazed me over and over again. The Boyz really made me a fan with this show. I am just really sad that only one group made it *sigh* Everyone worked so hard and showed incredible performances and since there was the chance of 2 groups advancing I had really hoped that Pentagon or ONF would make it as well. Really wanted to see another group given a chance of more performances on Kingdom.

I never scream that much in front of the Show. I was in the live stream and it was really nerve wracking especially with the app to vote who was JUST HORRIBLE. It was lagging so much, some of us couldn't even log In. Everyone were cursing to WHOSAPP in my Twitter's TL. In the final I did vote (for ONF) but it's took so much time. For the performances, my favorites were ONEUS, ONF (I'm biased they are one of my favorite group) and PENTAGON, I cant put a rank about this performances. However Verivery did well, they had the gut to choose a "cute" concept and it was refreshing compared to the other who choose an intense one. I have to add that it was seriously adorable to dedicace this to theirs fans with their fandom name in the locker and the sign language they put. For THE BOYZ, they did a amazing performance like always but my problem was the song, its didnt catch my attention and if I don't like the song it's more difficult to enjoy the performance. Honestly, I was sure THE BOYZ would win I'm not even surprised, after all they were first in the show most of the time, they did amazing/surprising performances all the time and they have a bigger fanbase than ONF especially internationaly. Our fandom (FUSES) is more small especially internationaly and you can see it just by the views on Youtube but we did so great for RTK, I'm so proud. Even if the boys were second, I'm not disappointed because it's a win for ONF and us. We achieved so much with ROAD TO KINGDOM, FUSES were able to come together and chart ONF's songs on BUGS, Genies even MELON for sometime it was incredible. The Korean public opened their eyes about ONF, they were 4th on the reputation group ranking and all the members were in the individual rankings. We gained so much news Fuses in the past days and one of the my favorite : We gained a great/strong friendship with PENTAGON and UNIVERSE. It was so fun to see the echange between ONF and PENTAGON on Twitter, they literally posted videos of each other having fun on "IT'S RAINING" and "FOLLOW". Little fact about ONF performances : Actually ONF have a storyline going on with theirs MVs (you could see them in the intro). Some of theirs performances have link about that. ONF's MVs are so beautiful with great storyline but really complexe (FUSES made many theories on Twitter if you want to read it). It's all about time travel/parallel dimension, android, end of the world etc. The Pandora Box and the Keys aren't there for nothing in this performance, I will not spoil if you watch their MVs but you will see the keys in their MV and what they are doing with it. They even put a link of their storyline in the performance of "THE WE MUST LOVE", if you remember well the back dancer made a clock who turn back in time. That's one point of why I really loved ONF's performances. You asked about the name of PENTAGON so PENTAGON came from a survival show PENTAGON MAKER. Throughout the show they had to complete their pentagraph who consisted of 5 categories: Performance (Vocal/Rap), Dance, Teamwork, Variety skillsand Mind (attitude). For each category, they had missions who could be individually or in teams. At the end, the views and likes of the videos would determine the final members. If they failed to complete their pentagrah they would not be able to debut but it's didn't happen because CUBE choose to debut all of them. So their name PENTAGON is from all of thi By the way, the song they sang at the end together is "Its Okay" by BTOB who is from the same label as PENTAGON. If you like vocals you should check them out because they are well know for theirs vocals skills and a lot say they have one of the best vocal line (I agree)

Watching was so hard as a fan of all the groups! Honestly I wish both The Boyz and ONF could have gone onto kingdom as I love both groups alot! I hope you check out The Boyz's practice videos that they released for their performances from the show or maybe some of their variety content ( The Boyz have some of my favorite variety shows )

Funny thing is with WhosFan app they give you 5 tickets to vote but can only vote once per team that you really liked, so I just ended up voting for everyone in the end, and I dont regret it at all coz they all deserved a vote from each one of us. Lots of love for all the groups on the show they made a great show and showed everyone what they're all made of.

I couldn't be more proud of The Boyz taking the ticket to Kingdom. Looking at all their performances as a whole, I really believe that they are the best suited for joining Kingdom. They are capable of so much and I think they have something special about their group dynamic and teamwork. All the teams worked so hard throughout the show, and I discovered so much about each group. With all the exposure I think we can definitely say that they are all winners. I really enjoyed following the show with your reactions, and learning more through your analysis, Thank you!:)

I think the show overhyped the Boyz from the very beginning because onf and pentagon were more impressive to me plus I hate fan voting that’s why if txt is on kingdom I’m not even gonna watch because even though they aren’t at the same skill level of seventeen nct monsta x I’m sure army’s will still vote for them voting should be done by professionals here on shows like this because the biggest fandom has won both queendom and kingdom it’s not really fair imo but hey whatever the Boyz did great and the others got better exposure and experience that’s the only plus because it really helped oh my girl popularity after queendom

thank you so much for your hard work for reacting to this series, I've really enjoyed your commentaries. I think i expected the boyz to win, honestly i bingewatched the majority of RTK because of ONEUS, and i knew of the other groups, i actually have known pentagon for a while , but some of which I've had plans to get into and RTK has given me the push i needed to get into these groups. as you said any of these groups deserved to be there, and well, i have a particular bias towards oneus but even if i remove that, their song and performance really captured and amazed me the most this round, and i'm really happy and proud they got to share that. i cant wait for hit the stage and i'm really looking forward to your dance practice reactions too especially because we'll get to see which ones you liked most (they have yet to release the ones from the final btw!) , your hard work is appreciated!

ONF had my favorite Dance, Pentagon my favorite Song and Performance, Oneus the best Concept... The Boyz only made it into 4th Place for the Finale for me and to be honest... Every Group would have deserved to win but I wanted PentagONF to triumph in the end. Also, I realized how biased so many People are while watching the show and it honestly turned me off of The Boyz completely atm. I hope I feel more positive towards them when they have their next Comeback because I got into them right before RTK and now I honestly prefer every other Group on RTK to them and before they were 3rd for me. That shows again how Fans can totally ruin your enjoyment in a group...

Trying to vote live during the finale was an absolute nightmare, just need to say Whosfan is a garbage app ugh But that aside: as a fan of all the seven groups on this show (not as much TOO at the beginning as I hadn't watched To Be World Klass, but I was intrigued by them and by now they have established themselves in my heart) RTK was both a blessing and an emotional mess. I loved watching the groups interact, I loved watching their slow rise to more public recognition, and I especially loved the stages - each performance outdid the other one, and now I have no idea how Kingdom is going to try and measure up at all haha I dislike the fanwars that have begun, and I hated the idea of eliminations - we could have been given so many more amazing performances! - and I'm sad about the fact that ONF and TBZ didn't both go through in the end. I'm so happy for TBZ because they absolutely deserved this win, but I wish we had two groups winning. [Watch Mnet be shady and pull something weird allowing some of the RTK groups to join Kingdom if they don't have enough groups to fill spots lol - nothing Snakenet could do would surprise me at this point.] Nevertheless, every group killed it, and ONF in particular have made me weep with happiness for them and at their excellent performances (they're now FOURTH in June group brand reputation rankings in Korea! FOURTH!). In terms of performances, ONF's It's Raining is still my absolute all-time favourite. I also loved The We Must Love (that remix - chef's kiss), TBZ's Checkmate for the completion of their storyline, Oneus' Come Back Home (although Lit as an enjoyable performance comes very close), Pentagon's Follow, Verivery's Photo (what an incredibly underappreciated performance!), TOO's Rising Sun (they covered my favourite group ever and did such a fantastic job) and GolCha's TOP (such musicality and the vocals!) Sorry for the long rant. I've appreciated this show and your reactions, Jeff - will stick around for the future and for your Kingdom reactions as well!

Agree. I also became a fan of The Boyz with this show, and really wished for them to win. But at the same time I think everyone did AMAZING, and would have loved to see another group join The Boyz in Kingdom as there was that chance.

Amazing! That’s a very healthy way to look at it! The show has done wonders for these groups and it’s all because of their hard work and dedication! Love it! Lol I can imagine the app didn’t have that much power handling that many people logging on at the same time. I can totally understand the frustration! Thanks for the info on ONF and Pentagon! Truly all winners! I think going on to Kingdom just means more exposure because there are massive fan bases that can be converted. But even with RTK, I think everyone were able to benefit from it 😁👍🏽

Yeah it is definitely a popularity contest. Not truly a bad thing as in the real world it is kind of like that right haha — with music sales and charting etc. Tbh I don’t think ARMY would vote TXT automatically just because of Bighit. Like I’m a huge BTS fan too but I won’t vote for them if I like other groups on the show. Which would be tough because the rumoured list has all the groups I react to on my channel lol.

Yeah idk how Kingdom will measure up to this. This was already quite grand! I also hate the elimination idea but I don’t think they would have that in Kingdom. Agencies of the bigger groups would not allow their groups to be eliminated. I also heard NCT was in negotiations to join but if that they didn’t join, another group would go through. I think if that’s the case, they would probably get ONF. Ooo amazing flashback to the older performances! I’ve yet to revisit some of those to make my top 10 but it will be such a journey!

Thank you for your reaction throughout this show. For me I love this show so much because it gives those underrated groups a spotlight to shine, myself coming in to this show knowing only some groups but after this show I will always look forward to all of the group and what kind stage they will brings to us in the future because we all now acknowledge how wonderful each of them were. I hope they continue to create this kind of show again because they're so much more amazing and talented groups out there waiting for their spotlight and this show just deliver those amazing stages and pull out their full potential for the world to see it. Another things that I like about this show is to see those boys makes friend with each other, thier friendship that create through this program is so heart warming for me, I was so grateful to watch them together. Lastly thank you for all your reaction it was a great journey, with your reaction I always gain many perspectives in each of those performances and I look forward to your 'kingdom' reaction that will take place this August 😊 and alittle things to ask you could you pls react to up10tion if you have times(I know you have such a long list of song to react) this groups from a little company is so talented and still doesn't getting what they deserve, wooseok and jinhyuk from pdx101 is a member from this group too so I really want you to checkout them I recommend their somg called attention and also their debut song so dangerous thank you (fun fact up10tion debut in the same year as seventeen too and mcnd is their junior in their label)

The fan war on twitter was insane. I had to step back from all the toxicity during the day of the live broadcasting and just focused on voting for the group that i was rooting for. I'm glad you didn't wade into that mess and a shoutout to you for giving credit where credit is due when the winner was announced. Fun fact, The Boyz broke the trophy though. The " 드", the "ㅡ" was broken 😂 i wish this stupid app has an option for me to put up a photo so that you can see what i was talking about. It's hilarious. Some said Kevin was the one who broke it due to his butterfingers but then again we'll never know unless Eric comes out and address this. Lolol. Anyways, Kingdom will premier on 27th Aug 2020 and end on 29th Oct 2020. It'll be another round of insanity again. Idk how The Boyz are gonna outdo their performances but we'll see. Till then, stay safe.

I woke up at 7am to watch this live and the live voting was hell, the app crashed even before the show so it was quite stressful. As much as I love The Boyz and that i'm super happy they won, i feel like this show showed me some amazing groups like golcha and onf! but all of them were incredible during all the competition and i just hate the survival fact of this show. Hope Kingdom has the same concept as Queendom, because the survival part of this shows kinda ruins it for me. And! about TBZ being underrated, theres this rumor about the general public in korea not liking "big" groups (big as too many members) because of the work of learning names and stuff which i personally find stupid... so thats why they may have a strong fanbase in korea but the gp doesnt know much about them maybe except for Haknyeon since he was part of the Produce show. I'm glad that a lot of people is taking interest and getting to know them. Hope you can check out their variety content! they have done a lot and you can see their personalities :) Thank you for reacting to the show! i'm excited for the dance practice reactions

as a melody i cried when they covered it's okay by BTOB mainly because i know how much that song means to BTOB (being their first song that charted) and the fact that it's a song that gave comfort to BTOB and now is giving to comfort to all the groups that participated. Idk it just made me very emotional, my melody heart was so happy.

also to shed some light on your comment about tbz's popularity, as a korean person, i think only idol fans really know who tbz are (compared to groups that have 'general public' popularity like bts, rv, twice, etc.) and moreover, even out of the people who know them, very few actually are hardcore fans of them. so while tbz were known for idol fans already, rtk helped them become more popular to the average person who isn't super into idol culture.

I felt the same way about the performances not really being finale worthy for not only the boyz but all the groups excluding OneUs. idk i was just expecting so much since it was the finale, considering how epic all the other performances were past episodes. I think everybody knew the boyz were gonna win tbh, their performances were just award show worthy. but I will say i would not have been mad if another group had won instead of the boyz ...every single group one this show did phenomenal jobs and I hope no one went home feeling like they didn't give their all or disappointed fans. I do have a question tho jeff, if u have one..what would be ur top 5 performances if u had to pick? mine r 1- follow (pentagon) 2-its raining (one) 3-the boyz (reveal ) 4- wannabe (golden child) and onf (we must love) 5-shine +spring snow (pentagon)

thank you for reacting to rtk it was so enjoyable following this and paid my attention to so many things.... I'm the boyz fan so I can't help but be happy and think they were worthy of their win.... I wished another team could go... if 2 went to kingdom they could lean on each other and relate with bigger enviroment there and more intimidating with bigger groups also it could be more chance for wilder audience to recognize more of those underrated talents...... in this show I think each group had their own charms and strength I think those groups get to discover themselves more as well as fans see more of it, it was really a blessing.... I wanted to comment on each performance but ig each one was so good so I dont want to do this today I just want to appreciate every stage they put here, btw Kingdom is starting on Aug 27! can't wait,,, can't wait for you to react to more of those groups outside the shows more, specially tbz xd thanks again,,,

ok sorry but want to put some points people didn't really catch on tbz performance 1- the stairs that sunwoo climbed with at the beginning is the same human stairs from danger perf and when he fell down its because he was falling asleep and woke up to discover its all a dream and its the real game today 2- when the dudes on the chess board was taking turns to move/play its true the black player moved first but didnt really do the move on the board because the white usually starts so he freezed in the middle till the white made their move on the board 3- when New fell down in the middle it's because of their losing one round (one chess piece here which is the member) but still it doesnt mean they Lost the game  4- when its the mini box part one member put white piece on that box the other put the black piece which are the 2 members in the box. the box represent the battle of thoughts and strategies of 2 teams  5- at the end when one member gave the other that chess piece they gave them the white one but when it was thrown the black on showed on the board which is the same team of the king that won in the reveal performance which represent the boyz... means the boyz won the game   6- in many parts you would think they were not synchronized but the white team are usually almost one move behind because the black is leading which is the boyz  there're alot many details but I'll stop here  sorry for making it long again

Thank you so so much for reacting to this series and showing ALLLL of our boys an immense amount of love. I am so happy that Oneus's performance was number one in your heart because I was suuuuper impressed by them and this performance as well! They went ALL out. Hopefully in the future, you can react to them, even if it's just to enjoy the music (like how you did with A.C.E). I also am anticipating and looking forward to any future Pentagon reactions from you, especially Dr. Bebe and Sha La La. I just recently ulted them and they truly deserve the world. Thank you for watching the show and shared your points and opinions with us. I was hoping Pentagon and ONF would go to Kindgom, since I am a fan of pentagon for some time and went through their hardships. However I am very happy they got the attention as well as all the groups included. By the end of the show there were a bit of fanwars, which made me sad. After all, all fans should remember with what intention was this show made. To showcase talents of underrated groups and bring general public to notice them... With that said I am looking forward to Kingdom (btw it is scheduled to air on 27th August, if someone didn´t mention it before). Thank you once again for your reactions!

Yeah I don’t think Kingdom will have eliminations. Doubt that agencies would allow their big groups to be eliminated. That’s weird tho cause Seventeen is very popular and they have more members than The Boyz.

Mnet really has done every group here dirty at least some point within this show, but overall showed everyone off to more people. Also you should check out Pentagon's older songs like naughty boy and humph, I get the feeling they'd surprise you! :)

This was one crazy roller coaster ride for me and I'm very happy I made the decision to support you and ride the roller coaster with you. I love your reactions and feedback on the performances and songs and I even learned a lot mmyself during this. Before I watched this episode I watched all of the performances alone for my own evaluation and ended up down a rabbit hole with Oneus's storyline, which I spent way more time on than I probably should have. I watched Oneus since they debuted around the same time as ATEEZ (and I know you like ATEEZ) and from their debut song Valkyrie through all of their comebacks I saw what their storyline was and they TOTALLY took the opportunity with Road to Kingdom to bring their story together with their LIT performance and their finale Come Back Home. jeff, the rabbit hole I went down was deep and I swaer I think I could write my own thesis on this. I hope you take some time to review other videos of Oneus. I genuinely want to see what you think of their pre-RtK content. I loved all of the other performances and since this show I've started to follow Pentagon, TOO and ONF more on other platforms. I look forward to other reactions from you as well! 사랑해!

Thanks for reacting. I'm on Patreon for your reactions. It's very interesting since I'm just blindly enjoying the performances while you have another perspective which I never thought about. As a To Moon, I admit that I'm biased but Oneus did the best. I just wished they had a better start. They took one round longer to adjust to the stage and stuff so didn't really start off well. Their later performances were so good and they even got 2nd place for Lit. Plus I find their interpretation and performances of the songs are pure. They really showcased who they were as performers and idols. I was also looking out for The Boyz and I agree that their performance fell short. I'm used to their big stunts so a dance-heavy performance didn't do it for me. On another note, who do you think will be on Kingdom?

Come back home hits hard and it's a big YES for me. I've been casual listener since their debut and they never stop improving. About The Boyz's performance, it's more the song in itself that fell short for me. The musicality and creativity were there, but the chorus sounded a bit flat. Performance wise, it was a great stage and I understand why they won RTK. They're super talented and I'm happy for them. At the end of the day, my favourite performance stays Basquiat. I'm a Universe, so maybe I'm biased, but I loved it because this song takes you by the guts and they managed to depict desperation so well through their vocals and facial expressions. I was just blown away.

Kingdom is going to start on 27th of August, if I remember correctly. Btw, did you know that Sunwoo from The Boyz who fall from the stairs, was lifted on a chair and participated in stunts in every performance throughout the show (on a door in Shangri-La, lifted in Reveal etc) actually has a fear of heights? You can see how terrified he was during practice on The Boyz YouTube channel, they show preparation for stages. For example for Reveal when they was asked ‘if it can go higher’ his face is pure fear. But he decided to challenge himself every time and pulled it off perfectly! And the whole show was just amazing, made me really emotional, especially because I’m the fan of all seven groups. That was really good marathon today with your reactions, finally had time since I’m now done with my exams and done with school (like forever)

I'm a multi and a ToMoon (Oneus' fandom name), The B and Universe (Pentagon's fandom) but tbh as much as I have been loving and favoring The Boyz performances in this show, Oneus TOTALLY out shined EVERYONE this round! Come Back Home was just on another level. THAT is what I have been wanting from Oneus this entire show, that is what I knew they were capable of! I not only love the song but the styling, the stage setting, the story, the acting and the dancing were all top tier in my book! Honestly it's the only stage that truely felt like a super grand finale stage. Ofc The Boyz did an amazing job and so did Pentagon, individually I loved their stages it's just that when compared to OneUs I definitely preferred theirs. I do wish there were 2 winners, I think OneUs deserved to win first place this round and The Boyz as well when looking at the accumulated scores. I'm still glad that at least The Boyz gets to go on though! I look forward to seeing more amazing stages from them!

I'm quite surprised that so many people thought Checkmate fell short. When I listened to all the songs before the finale, Checkmate was the only one that stood out from first listen. I have to admit that Come Back Home is a better song and The bridge of that gives my chills every time I hear it but Checkmate was so good to me. Yeah the performance was absolutely stunning and I love watching it but I genuinely love listening to the song too. I don't think it falls flat just cause it doesn't have a major drop in the chorus. Idk theres just something about the song that I love. Basquait is also one of my favourite songs from the finale. I loved ONFs and Veriverys performances but I don't quite like their songs that much at the moment. So for me I was very satisfied with The Boyz winning since I personally think they outdid themselves performance after performance but as with most other people I owuld have been happy to see anyone win

I know I’m a shooter for The Boyz in general but I totally agree with you. As a song to listen on its own, Come Back Home delivered extremely well, being my favorite. However, despite not being the most exciting song, Checkmate is very thematically in line with what TBZ did previously. It played not only to their assets but to the overall story they built. The perfect finale if you will. The artistry it takes to construct the storyline that they did is insane! The suspense, the thrill, the chorus that all 11 member carried, highlighting every sINGLe member. It was crazy. The impressive roundedness they applied to the stage. The invasion of the aUDIENCES space. All of it was quite frankly impeccable. They masterfully utilized their props and members and never once did the members and the backup dancers blend in. It didn’t matter how vocally powerful the song was tbh since no one was singing live minus Pentagon. For this stage that really wasn’t the point anyways. They told a whole story and it was visually stunning. The performance embellished the song in a way no other performance really was able to. I think paying attention to the details, the story, the fine fine things the Boyz did to create the picture made it worthy of not only being the best performance of the night but the one that segued into kingdom. It leaves you on the edge for what The Boyz have in store next. What they lack in vocal prowess, per se, they balance with their insane team dynamic and in-sync qualities. Every last detail was perfected and I only really realized how captivated (haha punny) I was until later. I also want to point out that understanding the lyrics deepens your appreciation for this entire performance. The Korean audience voted well for once. They know the sheer perfection of this performance and voted for it. That said, all the other performances (minus the lackluster stage that was New World) were very well done I just think The Boyz get too much “shit” for their consistency (people love underdog stories but RTK didn’t give that so it might have created unrealistic expectations/criticism for The Boyz)

I just started watching, but you asked how Pentagon came up with the name Pentagon, so I'm here to answer lol They had a survival show before debut that was called Pentagon Maker - and the concept of the show was that each of them should achieve full marks in 5 categories (filling up the pentagon) during the show - in order to debut. 5 categories are: vocal or rap, dance, talent (variety skills), mind (attitude) and teamwork. They had both individual and unit missions to achieve points in all of those. In the end all of them debuted (even though there were eliminations during the show) and they kept the name.

I'm satisfied with the results for rtk finale. It all ended well and the other contestants get to hold comeback one after another once the program ended. As for the songs, I would say I like come back home the most. I'm hooked to that song since the preview they released and oneus really did great performing it. The whole storyline was perfect. As for verivery, I watched rtk mainly for them to be honest. During the preview I was a bit shocked to know that they'd choose lighter and more cheerful song, but after knowing that the song is a confession for Verrers, I immediately fall in love with it. They still performed their synchronized dance moves through Beautiful-x and it really captivates me. I'm not sure if you know about this but the drawing that Dongheon sketches, also the final dance break were hints to their comeback right after rtk ended. So they kind of used the Finale rtk stage as a promotion to their comeback. Really Jeff it would be really great if you could check their comeback and have a look at 'Thunder' MV and dance practice. Also they have did horror mv concept through 'Tag Tag Tag' before this, and Ofcourse it's worthy to have a look.

its so interesting to see how our opinions differ lol, I feel like it all comes down to personal opinion. Cause I feel like 'checkmate' by the boyz was my fav song out of all, and was one of the most epic ones because it felt like a tragic rise to power. It was very fantastical and epic in the way that the performance held up. I know my preference in songs plays a part in why I felt it was the best, but I also felt it didn't lack in the power it needed for the finally. A big part of it too is how unique the concept of chess was and how they played with the stage and camera well.
