Jeremy and Curtis would head to the diner after work to shoot the shit before heading home for the day. Lately, however, Jeremy has noticed a change in his lifelong friend. He'll do anything he can to help, but Curtis just isn't talking.

The wisp beside Curtis issues him a warning to keep the Guardian a secret. They are ancient and mischievous, leading generations of guardians before him. The wisp is in control of his transformations, his role as the protector of the forest, and his lucidity in his beastly form.
