Your reaction to season 9 is how mine was. So many fans were saying "I can't wait for you to get to season 9" and for me I loved season 8 minus the 5 episodes we tried to forget every happened. I feel if you remove the Lana arc then season 8 is possibly the best season of the series or in the top 3 at least. The story arcs for most of the characters in season 9 don't really do much for me. Now when it comes to Oliver Queen, his storyline is the best. That scene was so impactful when he was ready to just die which showed the pain he was in. JH did a great job with the dark Oliver arc.

The writers aren'tthat good. They destroyed the characters with dumb storylines. That why people left so abruptly. This show could have been epic.
