As for the Serena problem. There's not really a solution given she's the main character lol. A big theme of the show is basically her being a mess. While Blair also does and says bad things, she owns and accepts who she is, unlike Serena who has a victim mentality and always has it in her head she's the good guy.

I don't want to see you hate watch the show, so if you've really lost interest or find watching the show frustrating or a chore...I'm okay with you stopping. If you're going to stop watching though, I would request that you at least watch the series finale to see how it all ends (and find out who gossip girl is). :)
