The acting in these episodes gets me every time. Spinner's character arc is a thing to behold.

shane kippel's acting has really come a long way. remember how atrocious it was in season 1? lol -- i also agree about the college characters being kind of boring now. the writers really didn't know what to do with ellie, paige, and marco at this point in the show. it's a shame cause all 3 were great characters when they were actually at degrassi. ellie in particular has been completely useless for the last couple of seasons.

Loved these episodes (the Marco part I can do without, but I already explained why i don’t think the college kids have been phased out yet). The only thing that has always annoyed me is that the writers completely brought in Spinner’s dad dying out of nowhere. He was mentioned in season 3 when Kendra was still around and in the episode that Spinner and Paige had a skip day. He was alive then, now he’s dead.
