I wouldn’t worry about not knowing most of the Pokémon. One of the main joys of Pokemon is discovering new ones and seeing how they interact with the world and what they’re like! Every time a new game comes out, everyone is most excited for the new Pokemon! There are over 1,000 now! And in answer to your question, the game came first and then everything else spawned off of that. Every generation, the game comes first and is then followed by the show, cards, merchandise, etc. In answer to your other question, the Original Series is pretty insane since they didn’t really know what they were doing at this point, but it is certainly a vibe that is unmatched and I respect that! The voice Actor for Misty and Jessie (as well multiple Pokémon such as Jigglypuff) died yesterday from cancer.

Yes, please continue this show! I used to collect the cards and play the video game. Even though i do prefer the water pokemon, in the game i always chose the fire-type as my starter pokemon. If you like Sailor Moon, you might enjoy reacting to Miraculous Ladybug & Cat Noir.
