The soundtrack to all of heartstopper season 1 and 2 has been fire 🔥 "There's got to be one straight friend", Tao and Ella are straight though 😂 honestly I felt the same about them hi ting at Imogen possibly liking that girl. I get sexuality is fluid but me personally, I feel like they randomly just decided to throw it in there. I love how Nick went about talking to Charlie about the bullying, he handled it well. I really thought he was going to ask more about his eating disorder at first though, but that's probably for season 3. I felt so bad for Darcy with a homophobic mom, I understand completely. I wanted to punch her mom so bad. I hope they go more into her home life in season 3. The ending to this season was perfect, so much love, fun and support there. As a queer person myself I want nothing more than to have a friend group like theirs 😭

isn't elle straight? I can't recall her having any interest in women or stating her sexuality. Guess i shouldn't assume but just going off what we know, as i feel like she would have mentioned interest in women when the girls came out to her. I guess tao said he was the token straight friend but idk if he was just referring to him, charlie and isaac.

This season is a 10 for me. I loved it so much. Loved all the mental health stuff. HS is very fluffy but I don't get some people out there who are like "HS is too sweet for me. Where's the drama?" There's mental health, EDs, self harm, abusive families, toxic relationships and sexual assault...but just because there's a happy supportive friend group you're pressed?? Okay. Anyway, I'm glad you loved it too. My biggest issue w HS is that it's too damn short. Less than 30mins for 8 eps a season is too little. There's SO much content from the comics that it wouldn't feel like stretching it if they made it an hour long instead or made it 16 eps a season. And yeah, that's the thing w HS, you can't help wanting more. We've already seen snippets of Narlie w Nick at uni in the comics and we could do so much with all of that and beyond. I sincerely do hope we get more than 3 seasons because it's a lot of stuff to unpack from the comics and that's not even including characters beyond Narlie. Hulkling is a rumour that fans are trying to manifest into reality LOL. It would be cool, though. The real cliffhanger of this season is Charlie's mental wellbeing. Obviously he's not okay and that is what we're hinting at for s3. Nick and Charlie have not said ILY yet and from spoilery pics we've seen it's probably gonna be same as comics, which is great cuz it's very sweet/funny. I don't agree that we should have ended on Tao and Elle cuz it wasn't a cliffhanger. Tao was okay w Elle going to art school. Bigger issue is Charlie's mental health.

Oh, and a lot of people had an issue with them hinting that Imogen might be into Sahar. They are also the same people who get upset that Nick kept mentioning he was "bi, actually" as if bi erasure wasn't a thing. I'm okay with Imogen and Sahar IF it becomes a thing. We don't know what Imogen identifies as - she could be bi, she could figure out she's gay instead, she could even be demi. There's so much within the rainbow that is never even addressed in the media. Like Isaac being ace was SO emotional for me cuz I don't feel represented at all most times. I'm sure demi people would love to have their own representation if that's what Imogen is. Or she could literally just be experimenting, we don't know. Anyway, we already have one of the central couples being straight - Tao and Elle. All of Nick's rugby lads are straight as far as we know. Do there really need to be more?
