We tried a year or 2 ago to do anime but ran into issues. I want to make another attempt.

Some of yall might not know but Anime is what this channel and Patreon was initially going to be because I hadnt seen any. I was enjoying them but then YouTube Changed some Copyright things and ultimately I had to delete the stuff and take it down.

But I have always wanted to get back into anime and would love to see what you guys and gals think would be some good ones.

if you do Death Note it has to be the dub version. one of the few animes where the dub is better than sub

One Punch Man is a good one for getting people in and watching. Manages to be well known, semi mainstream, and the first series is exceptionally good (second is still good, just wasn't on the same level). And with the 3rd series on the horizon it will probably be even better. It's also one I think he will enjoy a lot if he hasn't seen it yet. Death Note and Attack on Titan are also very good options that bring people in, but aren't too extreme of a commitment. One Piece has a good audience, but unless you are going to really go for it with a good number of episodes reacted to per week, that's well over 1000 episodes and no end in sight yet! Next best options are Spy Family, Hunter x Hunter, Naruto, Bleach, and maybe My Hero and Chainsaw Man. Not sure I would ever pick Pokemon to get into Anime or look to bring in Anime fans for any big engagement.

i would not pick Pokemon over all the other Anime's on this poll because to me Pokemon has like no interesting plot and i feel like most of the Epiodes are very filler imo

Yeah idk why Pokémon is voted on…that over some of these other ones for Steven to react to is wild. Be smart with someone he would actually enjoy and not with alot of filler

Animes tend to have complex lore and storytelling when you're not used to them. Since you're not used to anime yet, I'd suggest watching Bleach, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, Naruto, One Piece, Deathnote, Hunter x Hunter, Spy x Family, Haikyu!!!, and Your Lie in April (I probably missed some, but you get the gist). I think these stories start out slow enough and add onto to their lore in a consistent manner so you would be too confused in the beginning. If you want to jump straight in, based on your previous reactions, I think you'd like Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, One Piece, Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia, Deathnote, Demon Slayer, Chainsaw Man, and Jujuisu Kaisen. I just think you'd have to pay closer attention to the storytelling & lore, especially with Jujuistu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Chainsaw Man, and Fullmetal Alchemist

It's good, better than a lot out there, but subs all the way as the best for me still. The peaks the original voice acting reaches are just better personally. But overall generally the dub is pretty good. I would have assumed he would do dubs regardless though, reactions are easier that way for him, and for people watching here and on YouTube who only get a tiny screen.
