Oh, that sucks to hear all the technical difficulties you had with this episode. Glad it worked itself out cuz I absolutely adore this show now. I forgot to mention last episode that I was a little shocked that you knew right away even before we saw the wave that it was a tsunami. I don't come from a place that has tsunamis so I never knew that's a sign when all the water is gone. Maybe that's just dumb of me LOL. Anyway, Buck and Chris' relationship is one of THE best things in this show for me so I'm super into what's happening with the tsunami episodes. They're so sweet with each other. I thought it's super touching that Buck shielded Chris from seeing the dead bodies in the water. Can't wait for the next one!

That scene with May gets me crying EVERY SINGLE TIME! I love her so much! She's so strong! I love Maddie saying she's grateful that Buck isn't anywhere near any of this, then it immediately cuts to him and Chris hanging on top of their fire truck... 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ Speaking of Buck and Chris. Agh, I love them! Their relationship is just one of my favourites in this show. It's so special to me, and to so many other people. Their scenes this episode are great. Them playing I Spy, having serious talks about things, Buck turning Chris away when he sees the dead bodies so he can't see them but making a game out of it so he doesn't think anything is wrong, Chris pointing out that Buck saved him and all these other people, and Buck telling him they did it together and that he's proud of him and then their hug. And ugh! Chris falling off! PAIN! But Buck just jumping right in after him to try finding him. Watching this episode though, I always watch Buck just saving all these people and just think "This is the guy they say can't go back to work?! Seriously?!" Because he is just saving people left and right, with pretty much no equipment and no help. All he had was a ladder and a hose, and of course the truck itself. I could never! (Granted I don't have any training... Haha) Honestly, the Tsunami episodes are some of the best. Definitely my favourite Season Opening story of the show. The reaction to the words "First Wave" coming up on screen is always funny. Because yeah... It's just like "Ah, great..." Because suddenly we know that more is coming... At least we're prepared for it though because of that...
