This was a good episode however my main issue with this episode was that Cole love for Phoebe overpowered the Source evil to the point that he was going to give his power up to the Wizard. I just feel like all of Cole choices were taken from him. First from the Seer that sort of tricked him and now with Phoebe by stopping Cole from coming back to her. I just had to keep reminding myself “this is Cole” and “this is the Source” which I felt (at times) got lost. In saying that I do love Phoebe and Cole and the dark turn for Phoebe is very interesting. Phoebe had always been the one with the most potential to turn evil dating all the way back from season 1 with the Woogyman and season 2 future of her evil.

My thing with this episode is more of Phoebe's gradual turn. I wish they could have had more moments showing it. It was very sporadic. Like the moment this episode where she just didn't care and Paige was like wtf? I want more of that. The comedy is great, I love it, but I want to see more of Phoebe losing herself. She also didn't seem freaked out enough that she's changing or that she's using demonic powers. She was like "ohh no 😱" and then it's back to business. There also wasn't enough to show Phoebe's switch from finding out Cole is a demon/the Source and freaking out over it to wholly accepting it, turning her back on her family and everything she stood for, and even killing off Cole's one chance at not being the Source anymore (though I don't know that she knew that, with the way the Seer manipulated her like that). I just hope Phoebe understands and REMEMBERS down the line that she's the reason Cole couldn't give up being the Source.
