This episode is very funny but I so know what you mean about sitcom logic. Michael is the guy Tia went to the dance with in the episode A Tall Tale but they changed his actor. I never understood why they didn't just make him Joey, the guy who chose Tia based on her shoes. It would explain why Tamera was always so bitter about Tia and her bf and there would be a backstory for it. Especially when the actor is changing all the time anyway. It also makes Tamera come off kinda weird because this is the third of Tia's guys that Tamera likes (the first one in the pimple episode, think his name is Anthony or something like that, and the second one in the Joey's Choice episode) but it's the only one that doesn't have an understandable reason. At least for the first one Tia made her go on the date and for the second one they both were interested in him and were on even ground. But eh, whatever. I think this becomes less of a thing with each season

Also just as a warning, Sister Sister especially has no problem recasting characters that they consider small as well as reusing actors that previously played one character and using them for another character if it was just in a one off episode. I think they were able to get away with this when it was just airing but in streaming and binging, it always stands out. But again, I think they get better with it in the later seasons
