I'm glad you liked the episode! And yeah, the jump back to the past became a bit pointless in the end. It's only purpose is to give us more of Paige's backstory, to let us and Paige see how she survived it and to give their ghostly reunion an emotional punch. I wouldn't really have cared as much if we'd skipped the time jump and these two strangers just showed up at the end for no reason. Also don't agree that Paige was being unlikeable by wanting to save her parents. Everyone would want to do that for their loved ones if they were given a chance like that. All the rules go out the window. Phoebe did something similar when she went back and saw her mum in season 1 and that was a woman she didn't even remember. Imagine Paige with 17 years of memories, all the guilt from the accident and the sorrow of her parents only knowing her as a wayward kid before they died. Paige made sense this episode to me idk.

Yep, if Paiges parents storyline and her pain had been planted in the story before, this episode would have been a lot more impactful. :) But it's still a really nice insight into Paige and what she went through. You don't seem to dislike her as much, which is still progress haha. Personally I don't care if you ever warm up to her, since there will be plenty of goodness in the show to enjoy and not being into one of the sisters won't spoil it. I think at times you didn't care for Phoebe either but since Prue and Piper delivered so well, it didn't really matter. This feels the same
