I am releasing a very early beta for Patreon at last! 

So please do not share this copy with anyone else unless I personally give it out to people outside of Patreon. 

To play this Rom, you can use any emulator that can load GB games, yes you can also play on 3ds if you have an emulator to place it in. I love My old boy! on mobile to test it out on ( Unless you have an iPhone that cant do emulation ) Just Make sure to make the video resolution decent so it won't be blurry or stretched


This beta includes:

Spell mechanics, Basic Mechanics for world design, The Day system, Multi Dialogue for some characters, Item system. HP and MP systems are in place. Basic World Exploration, Some basic world lore

The beta Isn't a one-to-one depiction of how the actual game will look and function in the final build, these events are tests! Areas to play around in more like, however, the event for aqua does give a taste in how many events will play out in the final build

Some events will have playable minigames, such as Point and click, spam the button, quick time reaction, and many more. For the event included in this beta unfortunately only has the player letting it happen~ haha

Controls:

A ( Interact ), B ( Cast Equipped Spell ), Start ( Cycle spells ), Select ( Menu Tree )

Spells:

Impentus ( Magic Missle ), Ventus ( Gust of Wind ), Obrucio ( Crushes Rocks/ Walls ), Incendio ( Burns Tree trunks/ melts Ice )


Patrons Appearances: Many patreons may get featured in the game, whether it be in sprite form, big sprite form. Some may get the chance of being event characters; meaning characters that get events like how aqua had his event. 

Patrons may even get to vote for some characters and themes to be included~ Heck, I may personally send out private invites to some people I have interests in to see if they would like to be a part of this very spicy game


Game Beta Hints: There are 2 Easter eggs in this beta. One in the Classroom, another in the Lockerooms. 1 of them is a huge event sequence. Also in the Twistwood outer grounds, if you have trouble getting past the bridge, it never hurts to look around!

Hello! It's been a long while since I've posted to you guys, I've been really busy for the month of September but stuff has slowly been chilling down, the pressure at home isn't the best, however, I'm still working on a lot. Commissions, Rewards, Prizes, Games

I wish I was faster with these projects, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, as well as barely posting wips. I will soon but a part of me doesn't want me to clutter this place, even if that's the point of a Patreon is to show whatever.

I still am grateful for your support <3 Hope to post more updates soon~

I will sleep for the night, feed back on my game design is appreciated, I've worked with a few selected people behind the scenes to make it as decent as it is now. Many areas of the game are not included in the beta because they are still in development. Also, Aquas actions in this beta arent final, since he normally doesn't act this way onviously~ but it gives a taste on what events are like once you form bonds or make choices that will impact the events or story of the game

Really had a good time with this beta Javier. Those sound effects, temporary moments of bonding with professor Aqua, adventure around every corner and super engaging to partake in. You did such wonders with this through and through. Absolutely mondorific^^

Really liked it! The GB feel is really well done and still provides nice graphics and the sequence was amazing ;) I must say the spell menu felt a little confusing because you had the "use" and "equip" parameters, but couldn't select them, but other than that, it felt simple enough and entertaining. There was one bug I found that I have yet to understand how to specifically reproduce, but I went to the bottom of the first map of the outer grounds after opening the chest, and when coming back up, it was only a grey square instead of the opened chest sprite. I think I used some spells by accident on my way down too. I can't wait to see how it will turn out =)

Hehe glad ya enjoyed it! Also yes sorry for the weird spell menu pfft. The idea is just hover over yer spell of choice and then exit. It equips automatically!

I know which bug yer reffering too btw! Its just gameboy limitations, thats something that cant be helped with objects dissapearing and what not
