Being the portal hopper that he is, these two met the same exact same way, although, from dimensions having their size differences, the same interests led to them always hanging out when they could. 

Both being magically inclined meant more time to study and share scripts and spellwork.

But even Magi need their time to rest...

Alone to themselves in Aqua's special sensory immersion room, they both made casts to make the room make special circumstances to relax in full. 

An illusion to surround the room in a morning sky, and the bed to be extra comfortable to just indulge in whatever. cocking his brow once the little mage requested if he could rest on top of his soles... 

By this point they both had showered up... so that wasn't an issue, soft clean silky soles to nuzzle into. Huge and thick toes wriggling comfortably, the creamy underside only expressing that further softness to them. 

Laying back and breathing silently as the buizel admired his tiny friend against the very plush padding. Smirking as the mage regenerated his mana, soon snoozing himself, maybe lay his other foot near the one he slept on. just to keep the mage comfy.
